What planes are there!?

Does anybody know what kind of planes are there on the game cause i'm about to get it and nobodys said anything about jets yet please respond!

For airplanes there is the Harrier which does not have VTOL, has to take off like a normal fixed wing...and there is also the old WWI style Camel. That is it. No A-10, No SU-25 or C-130 until the addon makers get busy.

Was a bit shocked, when i first opened the editor and didn`t found more planes.

But there will be more.

I think whe`ll get an official expansion for ArmA, and the moddingcommunity only need`s some tools, until they can start.

Even if we had 100 planes, they won't make any difference.

If they change the flying system back to good ole OFP, I would be able to complete some missions.

I thought the flight model for planes was much improved over ofp? Now, choppers on the other hand.......improved, but still needs to be worked on.

Weird. I agree that choppers are far from being perfect, but i don't have any single problem flying ArmA planes. Whithout floating cursor they are waaay easier to fly than OFP ones... IMO.

I feel so good flying the Harrier that I often kill myself trying to pass below bridges upsidedown. Haven't succeeded yet. I like to Blackhawk and littlebirds, but the Cobra is a bit too unstabil for my taste.

To be fair, a harrier with a full warload and full of fuel cannot take off vertically. What you're missing is tooling around with a low fuel load and no armament, or landing vertically after a long mission.

Gotta agree with you there I found that weird.Was even hard bank and turn at higher speeds.
