Tiberian Genesis Mod

Now, the GDI & NOD Construction Yard model is finished. The Construction Yard is the basic structure which allows you to build any other structures. You cant build a base without this structure, so its the most important one.

It's accessible to infantry for hiding and fighting. And ofcourse, its not the only one building which we have finished, so in the next following days we will post some more render pictures about buildings and units.

ye thats the point! we are currently searching new texture artists! we have currently only one, and he is also busy in other mods. so the progress is very slow.

pleeeease..... isnt some one here which can help us?!

Why would they use C+C3 crap tounge2.gif

They use C&C2 Tiberian Sun sounds.

In Germany it had different naming schema wink_o.gif

cnc3 german = cnc2 tiberium sun

we will use some tracks of the original game Tiberian Sun, i dont think that we will do some self made, maybe some remixes, and for some better sound quality.

It all looks fantastic!

Is there a need for programs like Fwatch to animate the C&C mech units in ARMA? Or does ARMA already allow walking mech animations?

Not sure off the top of my head which c&c mech used em, Jug or titan.

We have used the FWatch for the Juggernaut. We have to search in ArmA some other ways, i think we already know how we do the walker anims whistle.gif

In the next weeks we will post something about the GDI Wolverine, he is the smallest mech, so i think we will show it with an animation.

Atm one of our modelers is working on the GDI Disc Thrower, I think this unit will be soon showable. And ofcourse his discs which he throws are working fine wink_o.gif

How is the progress stat? Do those mech vehicles move?

Thinking of Battletech but yes they've got stricter rules and Sahrani is too small and beautiful for OmniMechs. Beside nobody knows how it can be exactly done/played without having a MechFunShooter.

Waiting to kick those nice guy GDI again.

Specular map is still WIP, Arma apparently shows them far different then what 3dmax does which is why the bullets and overall shading of the mech looks off.

I'v been fooling around with it and am trying to find a solution as to what the deal is and how to fix it so that only the silver parts refract a bit more light but not quite as much as they do now.

Btw, love the dropship in the second ingame picture biggrin_o.gif

noooooo sad_o.gif damn i had high hopes for this mod, oh well hope it works out for ya. But imo wont it be a bit annoying when you wont be bale to choose all the road way settings and stuff and have to go with what the engine uses? tounge2.gif
