DKM BE Inaccuracies

I would just like to point out the things that DKM should fix or at least look into for their BE tank.

1 a - the projectiles it uses arent just called SABOT or HEAT they are the 3BK31( APFSDS) and 3BM42 (HEAT) and the 9M119MLauncher ATGM (reflex M )[it has one).

2 - the BE has an active protection system which goes by the name of Drozd( why cant u just use the VIT APC arena effects for it) because I tried a map today and the BE doesnt have drozd even though on the model it has drozd depicted.

3 - the camouflage and markings (the red star would no longer be used) and why not use a russian flag above the tank on a long pole.)

4- naming the black eagle is the T-80UM2 not the T12UM1.

edit:binview saved my behind and my modified version now works except for prevention of the missile from actually causing damage.

to do: make the ATGM a seperate projectile, add KORD etc...

wrong way round 3bk31 is heat and 3bm42 is apfsds, and sabot isnt a type of a round

T-80UM2 is not the balck eagle it is a T-80UM fitted with droyzd instead of arena. The black eagle does not yet have a T series designation as it has not been acepted for service. Its corect designation is its prototype name OB-640

Made before VIT APC pack if I remember, and while the VIT APC pack's attempt is very good, it's not perfect.

Yeah, that might be true, but it fits in with the exisitng BIS content more with it on. Why not a flag on a pole? Because not every tank would have a flag on a pole, and the animations for the flags can be laggy.

So the one point of the protection system, and you can't make it work? Yeah, you really are qualified to be telling DKM how to make addons.

Go and make your own Black Eagle, and by that I mean start with a blank screen in O2 and make one from scratch, not try and pass off our model as yours. Then, make a thread about it. I'm guessing there would be so many inaccuracies to talk about, you'd get several pages worth of "feedback".

You do need a hobby, addon making and addon criticising isn't it.

Well I fixed the Drozd APS and now Im planning to put in the NSVT 12.7mm. No I dont have a bone to pick but at least before they could have released it they could have put in the correct designation (btw object 640 is the omsk designation).

The drozd aps works almost when a missile (law 80) is incoming against the barrel.

Jaguar how can you tell me I dont have permission to edit it if you are not the original author.

If it's not obvious enough, here's the answer:

He is a member of the DKM team (I'm sure you noticed it in his name). It was produced through a team effort, and he is their representative. If his answer is "no", then DKM's answer it "no".

Universal please refrain from making any such threads in the future, they ultimately serve no purpose at all and coming from you they apparently are tantamount to flamebaiting, at least you don't seem to inspire friendly responses.

If you have an irresistible urge to make corrections and nitpick people's work please either make your own perfect addons or provide corrections and nitpicking in threads of addons where the creators say "please I'm begging everyone, send us lots of corrections and nitpicking it makes us moist with excitement".
