Please take a look at how AI is driving tanks/apc's.

I mean, if you order him "FORWARD" what is he doing. Driving forward or going crazy like OFP's AI? (Stichwort: Schlangenlinie)

Good question mate, i thought i could kill the driver of my tank.

He took all other directions except the one i gave him in my order.

Ditto. VTOL is almost my main interest in this game, and yet it hasn't been mentioned as far as I know.

i thin one of the small fun things is tractors that fly when being satchel charged inlove.gif i don't understand why some one would want to take that fun away huh.gif

Hi, I didn´t read all posts - so sorry if asked anywhere!

My question is about the multiplayer-part (probably not time enough to test but perhaps you could): How accurate is the netcode? Perhaps you can test it with other testers in a LAN-match!?! I´m wondering if it´s like Joint Operations for example (very inaccurate) or if it´s more precise! Please check if you have a chance to!

@[CAS] Daniel: VTOL will be patched

my questions:

*is there CAS and how does It work in arma?

*are TOWS laser guided or..well the same as in ofp

*engagement ranges for helos and tanks (check the highest skill levels)

*how do the armoured vehicles beave in combat (AI)

2 questions we had in our IRC chan:

- could you test if the radio queue will still prevent the AI from following your orders? (like you're in a tank in the heat of battle and AI is reporting "T72 12 o'clock, 200, BMP 11 o'clock 500..." ect. and while the AI is talking, you can't give commands to your gunner or driver, that was really annoying in OFP)

- could you look, if there is an option to turn off the "beep-beep" after a radio command?

Probably the most annoying thing for me in OFP...

Can helicopters land properly, or will they still hover for an extended period of time prior to touching down?

- Do smokeclouds block AI's view?

- Can we have more then one AI-friendly airport on the island?

- Is there a big watersplash effect when a shell or anything else hits the water? (sounds obvious, but you never know... icon_rolleyes.gif )

- Can AI cross a bridge on foot?

- Are troops "setpossed" on shore out of the boat or is there a proper animation?

- Can we hide in the grass?

- Any timed fused grenades in the game?

- Are parachutes steerable?

- Are you hostile for the enemy when you drive or flly a hostile vehicle? (even when they didn't see you enter the vehicle)

- Does it rain inside the buildings?

Please check the included Multiplayer mode CTI.

-How is the mission?

-what you have to do?

-whats including this convoy?

-how u can get more armored veikels like m1a1 and stryker?

-how can u resupply, do u use points for it?

-do you need to refuel now?

-do you need to capture all towns and is it playing on the complete island?

AI:

- how is the AI behavior when u are playing tank commander

- does the AI handle your orders quick like in OFP or are they just stupid

- what ways of exiting a blackhawk do we have? like paradrop etc.

Physics:

- are the vehikel physiks from tanks and APCs the same like in OFP

- how are the aircraft physics

thats just my few cents

TOWs aren't laser guided.

I think TOW stands for Tube launched, Optically tracked, Wire guided.
