BlackScorpion 0 Posted December 3, 2006 Joint Ammo & Magazines. Go to ofp.info (if it works, that is) and search for it. Very useful as way over half of the addons are able to use it, and thus to some extent require it. Ah well, just use this: http://operationflashpoint.filefront.com/file/JAM3;47501
Ase290406 0 Posted December 19, 2006 Hey people. Sorry to reopen an old topic, but the problem is screwing up a mission I'm trying to make. Anyway if i put RHS crew into a BMP 3 (Via moveingunner init command) and then attach it to a squad of RHS Mech.inf/Ground troops, the troops won't get aboard and as a squad leader I can't order them to. I don't get the "Boarding" icon when I point my mouse on the BMP, and the command menu isn't helping as well. With BIS crew everything seems normal. Anybody knows a way around this?! AKM 0 Posted December 20, 2006 I attempted to replicate this problem and have had no success thus far. Question: Are you using stock OFP, or a mod such as WGL or FFUR, etc?
Ase290406 0 Posted December 20, 2006 Thanks for the fast reply AKM, I'm using ECP and DXDll. I have WGL and SLX installed but they were not used. I have multiple shortcuts for OFP on my desktop, for multiple mods.
AKM 0 Posted December 20, 2006 Right, I still can't replicate this problem in ECP (v1.085e and v1.085e with the DSAI extension by Cameron McDonald), and I don't have DXDLL. My money is on it being one of these screwball random errors that OFP comes up with every once in a while. No idea what's causing that, unless it's DXDLL. Hopefully someone else will be able to help you. I can't make the problem show up. I assume you're using the VIT/DKM Russian APC Package, either v1.3 or v1.4? Ase290406 0 Posted December 22, 2006 Strange... And yes I am using V1.4. OK, guess I'll have to make a new mission. Thanks for the quick help anyway!
Wadmann 0 Posted December 22, 2006 I am getting an error with a mission that previously worked with the new Oman,Navals,Vityaz, ect units (just to see what they all looked like) but with the old Motorized Inf. units. Now after installing the new 3.0 Mot. Inf. units, I get the following error when I attempt to use the mission: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">Error Loading rhs_rfmi\rhs_garr03.p3d (Magic) Any idea what is causing this error? Thanks in advance. Wadmann
Shadow NX 1 Posted December 22, 2006 Make sure the new files overwrote anything old and maybe try to remove the rfmi_jam_scripts.pbo. or... thinking of it... I guess its simply a missing unit, probably one of the captive soldiers, Laser didnt add them in the new pack not really sure why, lack of time is my guess. Sudden Death 0 Posted January 9, 2007 think there are some bugs in the rhs_rfmi config <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">requiredAddons[]={"BIS_Resistance","BIS_WeaponPack","JAM_Magazines","RHS_WeapPack_Scripts","RHS_Weap_Sounds","RHS_Weap","RHS_RPG","RHS_SVD","LSR_R109","BD_Flashbang"}; but the config in RHS_WeapPack_Scripts says <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">class CfgPatches { class RHS_Weap Same with "RHS_RPG" or "RHS_RPG22"? RHS_SVD has no config - also wrong? S.D.
Sudden Death 0 Posted January 10, 2007 To fix this bug , inside of the Rhs_rfmi.pbo config.cpp change the buggy requiredAddons[] section and the RFMI should work without a problem. Along the wrong entry "RHS_WeapPack_Scripts", i found 2 more entries in the requiredAddons[] section of the config.cpp that is found inside of the Rhs_rfmi.pbo that should not be there or not like this : Â RHS_SVD and RHS_RPG22 There are indeed a RHS_SVD.pbo and a RHS_RPG22.pbo , but the requiredAddons[] sections of a CfgPatches does not list PBO names, it must list only CfgPatches entries. There is no RHS_SVD config.cpp , so not CfgPatches entries for it. for the RHS_RPG22.pbo , the CfgPatches entry is RHS_RPG So here is the correct requiredAddons[] section : Â <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">requiredAddons[]={"BIS_Resistance","BIS_WeaponPack","JAM_Magazines","RHS_Weap_Sounds","RHS_Weap","RHS_RPG","LSR_R109","BD_Flashbang","custom_head_textures_2"}; While in SP it just throw an error during the loading and after it everything works without a problem, But in MP the problem is more annoying as it leads to a crash directly. I see Sanctuary found the same bug and post a quickfix earlier.
