Free to use textures I've created

Recommended Posts

I've been taking some pictures of my gear so that the community may have some more textures to work with for possible OFP or ArmA AddOns.  I hope someone can use these, because I know I wont.

Also, I get random urges to create textures every now and then, and lately they've been middle eastern house/wall/whatever textures.

I'm open for suggestions or any if anyone needs a certain texture.

All of the gear is shot against a white background and edited so full transfer of a texture is easy and painless.

Gear

Issued MarPat Woodland Texture(1872x1446):

I'm currently working on:

Woodland BDU Texture

Coyote CIRAS

Generic Desert Boots

More Coyote Pouches (Radio/Medic/Admin)

Tri-Color CamelBak

Coyote "Backpack"

If needed, I can take shots of the BDU's layed out so pocket layout is shown, but that's only if people could use them.

Thanks for the large swatches of the camouflage patterns. With these it is possible to create a background tile that does not repeat itself too often.

These could go in the Addon Research Topic.

Hah, I have a few more ACU things and I'll post them in a few.

I'll be happy to help you out Cameron if you're serious about that wink_o.gif

On the same basis that Wilco has taken the above photos, I have access to a lot of military vehicles... almost every mainstream type vehicle used by the USMC since WW2, along with a few obscure types... so if anyone needs pics of stuff just send me a thing and I'll see what I can do..

Wilco do you shoot the photos inside your house with camera flash?

I would took them outside into the sun or sth, or where the most real light is. wink_o.gif

but thank you! nice job + idea smile_o.gif

I should be shooting them outside, but the weather has been iffy around here lately.

My next batch of stuff will be outside wink_o.gif

Really nice, but the ACU doesn't seem quite right. It seems too "grey" I think it has to do with the lighting it the photo was shot in.

i wish people wouldnt even bother commenting on the ACUs appearance, have you ever seen an ACU in person? thats what it looks like, basically indoors and out.

Agreed - it's ridiculously hard to make ACU textures for OFP that will look even remotely milspec, because the game munts them out of all proportions.

That is, whatever, what real ACU looks like, though if you were to port this into OFP unchanged, it would like exceedingly white and blue. smile_o.gif
