Two words: Galil! woot!

EDIT: Ok, something a bit more substantial. The quality of these weapons is absolutely amazing. Only one problem is that the FN MAG's ammo seems screwed up. In the sample mission the machinegunner doesnt have any ammo. In mission editor, he does, except it doesnt show up in inv. screen. I suspect this is because Im using JAM3, if this is so, why not make JAM3 instead of JAM2 version?

Looks great... but nevertheless, placebo's going to butcher you unless you reduce the size of those pictures immediately.

Wouldn't know about that, they've been really lazy lately. Don't remember which thread, but it had 500kb pics. And the post wasn't brand new.

But, anyways, they look great. Not perfect (*cough*) but very good. Gonna test them soon methinks. Danke! Wee, Galils!

Two feed's into the GPMG?

Thats because the image was (probably) taken in O2 with the zasleh selection still showing, as such, the second chain which is part of the zasleh selection and appears when the weapon is fired (to simulat the next round being loaded and the feed advancing) is still visible. I imagine thats the case, I didn't take the screenshots so I can't comment with absolute certainty.

looking nice. The iron sights for the galil are exellent. smile_o.gif

Heres a few bugs I found though

-I can't seem to reload the mortar on the galil AR 5.56mm or 7.62mm. It works for the others though. Does anyone else have this problem?

-When reloading the galil AR 5.56mm, there is the sound of a single gunshot.

Other that those 2, they really are looknig great  thumbs-up.gif

Indeed it does. All 5.56mm variants of the Galil use curved 35 round magazines, the 7.62mm variant is fed by a straight 25 round magazine.

Some bugs I've found:

Muzzleflash is missing lighting, reloadsound is the same as the firesound.

No, if that was true he would be crouching and would hold it up against his shoulder. I think its just a case of the modelspecial being f---ed up

Thats a modelspecial bug. Simply needs the following named property

<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">autocenter with a value of 0 added to the first resolution LOD of the GALIL-mortar model, and it should fix the issue.

Every single magazine that is in JAM2 is in JAM3 too, with no change to classnames or anything daft like that. I haven't got time to check this out myself, but I can't understand why it wouldn't work with JAM3. huh.gif

Cheers,

CH
