Jmaster33 0 Posted November 26, 2006 I've just got a hold of the Czech version of the game so if anyone wants me to test anything or try anything out and report back, I'd be happy to do so.
meyamoti 0 Posted November 26, 2006 Its a double edges sword, you can have jumping and risk people pulling bunny hops and derail realism,or you can have no jumps, derail bunny hops, improve realism BUT get stuck on roof's. Personally,I'd take the latter, since it seems that parachutes are mostly what causes this, just don't give helicopter pilots parachutes and make parachutes steerable. Once that is done,if you get stuck on the roof its your own fault.
flyfinn 0 Posted November 26, 2006 hi.. ok but if u can walk up to some roofs and get stuck.. BI really should make some steps on those roofs... so u can get down again..just want more buildings steps so u can climp over some small roofwalls.. more sniper hidingplaces... maybe on 1 patch..??? Mr_Tea 0 Posted November 26, 2006 BIS will not let us alone without patches. That is not what BIS is known for. Have you noticed, how active the dev`s are in this forum?

RobNob (6th) 0 Posted November 27, 2006 hi, im currently running armed assault with: Intel Pentium D 820 2.80 GHZ 1gb Ram Nvidia Geforce 7300 GS Win XP: SP 2 And Direct X 9.0c And i've been playing on low setting with good fps, but prone to crashes and graphical bugs, just wondering if i bought a Radeon X800 would my game improve? Thanks In Advance
*actionhank* 1 Posted November 27, 2006 Can anyone comment on the death animations? If they're new or not. I was just curious, i'd kind of like to see them impliment a type of havok physics thing for death animations. Looks better than the old OFP "die in this way" animations. Especially the ones when you'd kill a guy proned out, and it would look like he'd get hit and then decide to lay down his gun and nap.

*actionhank* 1 Posted November 28, 2006 Well, that's better than nothing! Thanks for the info! Maybe someday they can use the physics engine to take over in place of the animations.

martinovic 0 Posted November 29, 2006 There were reports of some pretty shoddy video cards running ArmA pretty well. However this is only true for the Czech version. The german version has severe preformance issues, maybe because of securom maybe not, but you cannot get FPS better then 20 with the bugged german version, so wait until they fix that issue (if you plan to buy deutsch). Myst9999 0 Posted November 29, 2006 I have a question that doesn't really warrant a new thread. Will there be a demo out for the English speaking regions?

Anunnaki 0 Posted November 29, 2006 PERFORMANCE Athlon XP3400+ (socketA) non-dual 1GB RAM ATI X800XT 256MB AGP terain, model, drawing = very high texture detail = low posprocess = low AF,AA,Shadows = off Blood = max visible distance=1200m resolution = 1280x1024 Game works fine. IMPORTANT! In control panel for graphicscards its necessary to made following: 1) turn everything to performance (not quality) 2) unselect/disable options like "let application choice" settings everything must be set on PERNAMENT PERFORMANCE 3) disable all AA or AF or other features like that 4) select choice double buffering (not tripple) 5) DENY V-sync !!! (turn V-sync PERNAMENT OFF!!! 6) close all not-necessary programs running on your computer behind For ATI users this works very nice but sometimes game crash, but for this is not "cure" at this time.
