Ricochet in ARMA

Hmmmm, it took far too many hitting ricochets to kill that soldier at the end. I can't even be sure that you didn't actually walk the impact point too close to the soldier.

I think that it is most impressive when viewing from a side angle. It seems to be more visible in first-person weapon sights view, too.

Yes Uziyahu--IDF it dose take way to many Ricocheting hits to kill, I think i counted 40+ Ricocheting hits before he droped!

Heres another video this one is me ricocheting rounds off the side of a M1A1. If you look close, some of the rounds ricochet off of the M1A1 onto the runway then ricochet again off the runway.

Yes confirmation ricochets take place off of most objects! (eg. ive gotteren ricochets off of the concrete buildings at the Nogova airport but i cant get one from the aluminium aircrafthangers there)

yes! that what i'we wanted to hear, bullets do richochet from objects. Thats enaught for me, just hope bis will fix this nonsence that units can take up to 40 ricochets till they die.

That would be because I've been able to punch holes in sheet metal with .22LR. I doubt that anything any military fires would ricochet off of sheet metal.

In OFP, you could get shot through those (especially by AI (I think)).

Unforchenetly the servers at FileFront have been down for Maintenance but when they are fully backup ill upload three more videos.The first will be Ricoches from buildings (on the end of this is a little something that makes OFP fans happy but makes Fuel Station owners Sad ), The second Video will Show Waves in OFP:E (Surfs up dude) & the third will show the great Lightning effects that are in OFP:E which im shaw will be included in AA.

Umm... by the way, OFP has ricochets, including off objects. Try playing around with bn tracers some (or WGL5 beta, since it has the tracers coded in for you). Best thing I remembering was when I had a Minimi and lost a shootout with a BTR. Took several hundred rounds, and the tracers flew beautifully.
