It's time to strike BIS. Although i play and enjoy OFPDR it is a failure, the servers on the 360 are pretty much a ghost town, there's lucky to be more then 3 games on offer at any given time there forum is a shambles with no input from Codies what soever plus there net code, patch and DLC are a joke. If you release ArmA 2 as bug free as possible on the 360 and back it up with good advertising, patches that actually fix any bugs that crop up, and release good DLC, with the way OFPDR has turned out for Codies you would corner the Milsim market on consoles.

To anybody who's playing the demo or the full game, what mission templates are in the mission wizard.

They didnt say there not going to release on Consoles just that they have no info about a release on consoles at this time. AVIBIRD 1 please dont give up on Arma2 on consoles over 1 interview, have faith in BIS, Even if we have to wait for a Console release it will be worth it. I dont trust Codemasters as far as i could throw them. @binkster Theres features in OFPE that were not in the Vanilla OFP release, Depth of field, Streaming Terrain, Ricochets, Lightning in Stormy weather, Grass, Rainbows, plus other improvements, Yeah it has its down sides, No mod support, No scripting, Limited Editor, among others, but it was defernetly not dumbed down just optamised for the console. So theres no reason that Arma2 couldnt be realsed on a Console in a Optimised version, I hope that BIS do release a Console vesion of Arma 2, anyway for BIS to increase there profits and fanbase is a good thing right? Â And for the record ive played OFP and Arma on PC since there release and still do, and OFPE on the Xbox, and enjoy both versions for different reasons.

If Arma2 is going to be released on the 360 i think the Faction Videos should be released on the Xbox Live Marketplace ASAP.

Like many i enjoy using the 360 controller for flying and driving in Armed Assault, but find the drivers that Microsoft released rather limited. The Microsoft drivers map the triggers to the same axis (Z+,Z-) which pretty much makes them useless, also you can't adjust the dead zone of the sticks or button, trigger, and axis thresholds. XBCD is a free open source driver which allows you to load different profiles for your 360 controller. You can have separate axis for each trigger, have the triggers as digital buttons or customize the buttons and sticks to your liking. Installation is quick and easy, updating over the Microsoft drivers then selecting a profile in the XBCD setup . Wow this looks unbelievable. IMHO CoC are definitely the premier mod team in OFP & ArmA Bring on the public beta.

After a non useful first post on my behalf (sorry about that ) Then watching the videos on HavocDemon's first post again, In particular the sections of the First Video where it took 13 .50cal rounds to disable the UH - 60, And 32 .50cal rounds to disable the MI - 17. It didn't seem right that it took that many rounds to do the job especially on the MI - 17. So i thought I'd do some experiments of my own record the results and share them with the community. After a few tests i hit the jackpot and found the Sweet Spot on both choppers. Like a lot of things its all about Location,Location Location.

O no not the dreaded B word again. Ask WW2 Poland about balance . Theres no such thing as "balance" in war (shit the hole idea is to get an OVERMATCH on the enemy). IMHO there shouldn't be any "Balance" in a Military Sim either. Theres only pros and cons, as in real life. You have to use your advantages to offset your weaknesses.

I'm preaty sure it was one of vilas Addons that caused the Chest shooting for me. So if you have any of his Addons try removing those.

Yeah it's real OFP2 . But i guess the reason not many are talking about it here is because BIS have nothing to do with it. I think theres some posts in the Offtopic forum .
