Hi,

I think a new <span style='color:red'>SOVIET</span> tank crew will be a good idea.

The original (BIS) look bad now beside new soldiers...

Maybe ORCS could (If they read that topic  ) reskin the tank crews.

It would be nice...

OFP: Elite has new Tank Crews, therefore I think that Armed Assault probably will.

But I am kind of an optimist on this topic so maybe someone should make one.

There already are some good Soviet tankers out there.

I believe those are Russian Federation "tankistii," rather than Soviet tankers. The truth is in the flag arm-patch.

I could be wrong in the case of ORCS though, it's been a long while since I used those units.

The ORCS crew is not Soviet-era. They wear the VSR pattern uniform so that clearly says Russian Federation.

Perhaps we'll make our own "85 Soviet crew" for FFUR 1985 packs.

Edit : I just noticed that Liberation Mod has released some decent soviet crews which can be used as replacements for the era 85.

Soviet crews black uniforms haven't changed too much between 45 & 85.

A few older soviet area tank crews floating around not released yet or quietly released. Was some in vilas mod but in VSR or summer units of tan with the c**t-caps. Seen Afganistan era tankers around as well, the BIs ones are correct, other than boots, but most tankers wore em unbloused. Did black 85 tank crews sometime back updating the bis tankers with some of the objects from lasers newer models. But kinda lame only having one unit and wanted to make enlisted and officer verients with the old style nvgs they wore.
