FFUR - Huge Release !!

Do the PSO-1 sights on the AKM-74B, the scope on the Black-Op M4A1 and G36 really have no zoom??

You could ask Laser for his HALO Units when they come out as replacments for the "HALO Soldier".

Could we also have a Sniper with an XM107/M82 Barrett?

ok i noticed that the russians say "unknown" in english everything else is in russian, if you could post a pic, of those guns i would gladly to comment wink_o.gif

They've a very low zoom, but only a few people who usually deal with aimpoints & acogs may notice it...

Yeah, there are more 'words' which should be in russian... but some russian people have kindly accepted to record'em for us.

All packs do have the same songs files, except the asian which has its own music files based on typical & traditional asian songs.

I tried it, and the music.pbo replacement only replaces CWC music files, it doesn't replace the Resistance music files since these are stored in the 0.pbo

sorry Ondrej Matejka, but I'm still looking for a (non-destructive) way to replace all music files

You can do it via the cpp, at first convert your songs to .ogg, put'em' in a folder, convert it to pbo, then define your songs in the cpp.

Btw we expect to replace resistance songs for the incoming patchs.

is the aim of chines qbz95 and japan type 89 been reported, you could try it for yourselfe shot at the ground and try to hit the same spot, i think it s of for a bit huh.gif

ACOG and PSO-1 have 4x zoom which is the same as the Dragunov, the G36 has a 3.5x zoom.

Are you gona balance out the Barrett for the USA side with RHS's OV-96?

I have seen in more than one non-bullshitty article that American Spec Ops usually use Sig-Sauer pistols or customized Colt .45s in preference to the Beretta. would you consider changing it?

to improve game play further one little thing would be to add some more glow to the different aimpoint sights (hopfully also russian) to improve night missions in cities. Any plans to add some more new units to 2005, so you can use them in mission editor?? if so they must have simmilar values to those allready in use so there will be no UAZ that can take 3 hit from sabbots smile_o.gifsmile_o.gif dont know what values u use but there is CAVS, that look realistic to me..

I'll increase a bit their zoom to reach 2x.

Thats true, but the version most commonly used by the US is a 4x model with non-variable zoom, check out http://trijicon.com/user....oryID=3

Incidentally, the 2x model is a Mini-Acog, which looks different to the regular ACOG. Never believe everything wiki tells you wink_o.giftounge2.gif

Well I incorporated Reflex & aimpoints M4 in any way...

so no worries about Acogs.

Woh those pics look great super nice work

but one thing i dont like is the look of the new m203 iron sights the m203 can only fire 350 yards aprox is what ive heard and i dont know distances very well but i think 300metres is bigger then 350 yards so why is there a 3 for 300 or is it measure din yards ?

also they look brand new is it possible to use the original sights from the other packs and just change the numbers around so there right ?

Every time I fire the m16 in the ffur 1985 pack, there is this sound that occurs after that sounds like a truck starting. I would assume this is supposed to be a bullet whiz, but it sounds terrible! and it gets really annoying as well. Is there any way to modify/remove this?

that has been reported about a million times and yep i think it will be taken out or edited in the upcoming patches

but i actually liked that extra sound for some reason dunno why ?

It seems that people dislike the current M203 ironsight even if it is the most realistic and the most authentic one... SFP M203 inspired me to make that "easy-to-use" one.

Btw you have to know that the M203 is theorically used less than 300 meters, but practically it seems to be used over this distance.

Well the sound that occurs after "the firing one" is supposed to be a sound's echo... but we've taken all of them out of the sounds and improved them more in order to make'em' more realistic and more loud... (the sounds waves won't hit your ears,though...lol).

Does the M203 really have smoke trails?

I saw on some FFUR 2005 screenshots US SF carrying silenced MAC-10s or Uzis. All I've seen is a silenced M9.

today i had a chrash to desktop with 2005 in dogfight the ofp judt freazed??? it hapened twice

You're the first one who reports a "CTD"...

This must be due to some "extra" addons you used, if you want to use "extra addons with FFUR" then wait for the incoming FFUR -6.0- packs.

Andylee (ex-taiwanese military) reported that some M203 grenades do deploy that smoke trail once launched.

plus it seems it has been done in AA as well.

just one thing i noticed its not a serious problem but FFUR seems to CTD when there is too much lag or too much going on like running msn messenger at the same time thats the only time when ive encountered a CTD but never when i close MSN

Then close all programs before to launch FFUR mods, btw, you have to know that the loading time would decrease of 40% because all addons will be regrouped in kind of "FFUR_..." folders, so due to that, their number will decrease from ~200 to 20 more or less.

You enjoyed the current FFUR 5.0 packs but trust me, the incoming 6.0 version packs would be so far better than all previous ones...

im just wondering what exactly have you put in the new ones ? becuase im wondering they cant be that much better if its just a few bugs fixed and a few little effects added to soldiers

dont take that the wrong way i love the mod
