C4P741N 0 Posted October 11, 2005 I've been thinking about doing this for some time. Did you change the model or is it just a retex?. I was also thinking about changing the Notepad with an O2 XDA or some other PDA. Nice work. Cap. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
gachopin 40 Posted October 11, 2005 >C4P741N I changed 3d model and it uses original texture. If you will change default model , I think you should not change size of memory point. Now I play ofp using my original retextured compass and watch , and this notebook. Changing the Notepad is good idea. I wanna see it Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Daniel 0 Posted October 11, 2005 I'd just like to say this is one awesome little notebook. Really snazzy. Hope this gets incorportated into something like Y2K3. Anyway, it's really cool, good job. You know the note pad in Single Player Missions and Campaigns? If that got a facelift too, that would be brilliant! Â Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Gökhan - OFP TURKISH UNION 0 Posted October 14, 2005 Cool but I want a slim version. I know, I know; you will say that even this is too modern for Ofp but I want a more expensive one LoLL! Gökhan Turkish Union Mod Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

If that got a facelift too, that would be brilliant! it is possible! Changing it to a PDA or something would be nice. A bit modern perhaps, but hey! Pappy Boyington will love you for it . Post a tutorial on how to do it and many other mods will appreciate you . Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

 Y2K3 skypack + more has already been updated with this. 4mb download gets u new skys, night vision, rain, and a watch. Quote[/b] ]WGL guys were the pioneers of a such stuff . no they werent. they were a pioneer of taking other models and renaming it as thier own: ie the night vision goggles. they are INQ's and weither or not theres a fine print somewhere that credits him.. they changed the name of the model to wgl_ from inq_ and i think thats just iggnorant. now before the wgl fad users jump me.. im just submiting my opinion on using someone elses model and renaming it as your own. weither credit is givin or not i just dont like renaming the model to be your own. PS: this was an earlier version of wgl they did that in, i dont know if it still is like that but this was then. back on topic: i dont quite think they use PDA's in combat... but an overhauled notbook, even a retex would be nice. althou if a pda was created as a replacment id still use it Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Thunderbird 0 Posted October 15, 2005 Quote[/b] ]no they werent hm, I haven't been too accurate , *fixing* -> WGL mod has been the first one which replaced the islands notebooK. + Replacing .p3d/.paa in the Data.pbo isn't the only soluce to replace the computer, you can do it by the resource.cpp , I proceeded as that to change BIS computer by a notebook though. (FFUR) by replacing some data in these following lines <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE"> class RscDisplaySelectIsland { access=3; idd=51; movingEnable=1; controlsBackground[]={"Background3","Background4","Background5"}; objects[]={"Notebook"}; controls[]={"Background1","Background2","Title","ButtonWizard","ButtonCancel","ButtonOK"}; class Background3:RscBackgroundStripeDark { }; class Background4:RscBackgroundStripeTop { }; class Background5:RscBackgroundStripeBottom { }; class Notebook:RscObject { model="kniha6.p3d"; animation="kniha2.rtm"; idc=102; type=83; autoOpen=1; autoZoom=1; animSpeed=0.7; positionBack[]={-0.5,0.3,1.5}; position[]={0.15,0.0,0.8}; direction[]={0,"-sin 15","cos 15"}; up[]={0,"cos 15","sin 15"}; inBack=1; enableZoom=0; zoomDuration=1; scale=1; controls[]={"Title","Islands"}; class Title:Rsc3DTextMenu { color[]={0.95,0.85,0.3,0.7}; font="garamond64"; idc=-1; selection="cover"; x=0.0; y=0.2; w=1.0; h=0.1; text="FFUR Modern War"; style=2; }; class Islands:RscObjNotebookListBox { type=22; idc=101; style=0; selection="2.strana"; x=0.02; y=0.02; w=0.96; h=0.97; angle=0; rows=16; size=1; colorSelect[]={0,0,0,1}; colorSelectBackground[]={0,0,0,0.2}; colorText[]={0.2,0.2,0.2,1}; font="garamond64"; }; }; class Background1:RscBackgroundStripeTopAlpha { }; class Background2:RscBackgroundStripeBottomAlpha { }; class Title:RscText { idc=-1; style=2; x=0.2; y=0.02; w=0.6; h=0.1; font="SteelfishB128"; colorText[]={1,1,1,1}; sizeEx=0.098; text="$STR_DISP_SELECT_ISLAND"; }; class ButtonWizard:RscActiveMenu { idc=103; text="$STR_DISP_MPW_TITLE"; x=0.05; y=0.9; w=0.35; h=0.05; soundClick[]={"",0.2,1}; }; class ButtonCancel:RscActiveMenu { idc=2; text="$STR_DISP_CANCEL"; x=0.6; y=0.9; w=0.25; h=0.05; soundClick[]={"\FFUR_GUI\click1",0.2,1}; }; class ButtonOK:RscActiveMenu { idc=1; x=0.85; y=0.9; w=0.15; h=0.05; text="$STR_DISP_OK"; default=1; soundClick[]={"\FFUR_GUI\click1",0.2,1}; }; }; /This is the changed version Regards Thunderbird84 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
