Hi all!

We have started a Project about "Österreichisches Bundesheer" (Austrian Army). We want to make our work like BW-Mod (Packages with Cars, Armour,Planes etc.). Vehicles which are not made for OFP @ the moment (like some Trucks or Cars) will be release whithout Austrian Markings too to use in missions without austrians.

We need some people who can help us by making our Project.

-Modellmaker(who can make Weapons & (or) Soldiers)

-Modellmaker(Vehicles,Aircraft)

-Animationmaker

Maybe we will make a Island & Campaign too.

We have 3 Members now. Atropin (Modelling,Texturing,WRP),

Ceekay (Modelling,Texturing) and GrenSo (cfg,Scripting)

Our Languages:

-German

-English (my english is very bad i think)

-Russian (only me)

i have once visited Austria.Beautiful place.All those mountains and places,that country is great! Will you make an Austrian island too? it could be more like the FDF mod eastern border.All screen full of land,cause there arent any islands which belong to Austria,or what?Don't have anything constructive to say about their army

Thumbs up to this project! Great that the idea of the BH Mod has come alive again, back in 2002 there's been a Bundesheer Mod but it stopped silently.

I hope your motivation rests for some releases!

Well, great to see thtat the famous Bundesheer is comming

back to OFP (i remember som JAK's being made for CWC)

and like Hardrock already mentioned the abandoned BH project.

Will you guys also go for a 2 cm FLAK?

I spent my 8 month's on the gunner seat of such a piece,

and if everything went fine, the record of 61% hitrate on the simulator should still be seen somewhere in 'Langenlebarn' at the FLA school'. (Lol - those guys over there didn't expect

some computer games freak, as the previous record was

at 35%).

About the gun:

In combat it can be found mounted onto the Pingauer, or

down on the ground.

When being deployed onto the ground, there's two methods

being used: AA mode or 'Erdkampfstellung' - ground to ground

attack.

It's being used against helicopters / low speed planes (Austrian Bundesheer features alot of them) / light armored Vehicles / Infantry.

Magazines are filled with 50 x 2cm ammo.

Pos: it can be deployed almost everywhere

Neg: 20 mm Calibre isn't the strongest against Tanks

no aiming / radar support - everything has to be

done by hand (or legs).

While I dont know a whole hell of a lot about the Austrian military...I'm going to check it out. I know I'd like to see new units from countries.

What addons did you intend to make btw?

@eestikas88 Thanks . Maybe we will make an island later. First we will make the Units & Vehicles. If the vehicles are done faster than soldiers its no problem to edit the config in later versions of vehicle PBOs. We dont have somebody at this time who has expirience with soldiermodels.

@Chris Death i want to add the Flak on Pinzgauer to my Pinzgauer Pack (later Version). Thank u for the Information and i hope i can ask u some questions when i will make it.

The Static Modell can be added to weaponspack

Anyone interested in reviving this project for ArmA 2 OA/CO? It would be great if we would find somone who can do some nice Textures. Based on the ArmA Models I think I could do some soldiers with austrian gear. Maybe AAW will give us their Stg77/AUG. Help with scripting/configs would also be apreciated.

I'm sorry i misread your post. It's somehow allowed to port ArmA sample models to ArmA2. I thought it was for OFP.
