Thunderbird 0 Posted July 29, 2005 The packs are going online for beta testers ... then Parvus will be able to make his awesome screenshots Btw I'd like to replace Nogova for the woodland theme , but I still dunno which nogova should I use ... mapfact one (Very good map but needs a lot of extra addons ) , or fighter (autumn one...)... or maybe to keep it as it's now... Colossus 2 Posted July 29, 2005 I like Nogojev, but the east side of the map is not complete I would suggested that one if it was done. Go for the Mapfact map, you don't need incredible many addons though. Just the Mapfact's own addons, which is: -Mapfact - Airport Addon -Mapfact - Baracken Addon -Mapfact - Shed Addon -Mapfact - Heaps Addon -Mapfact - Military object pack I guess most of the people here already got those, so I don't see the big danger in it. The first M1 tank was produced in 1978, the M1A1 in 1985 and the M1A2 in 1986. 3,273 M1 tanks were produced for the US Army. 4,796 M1A1 tanks were built for the US Army, 221 for the US Marines and 555 co-produced with Egypt. Egypt has ordered a further 200 M1A1 tanks with production to continue to 2005. 77 M1A2 tanks have been built for the US Army, 315 for Saudi Arabia and 218 for Kuwait. For the M1A2 Upgrade Program, over 600 M1 Abrams tanks are being upgraded to M1A2 configuration. As usuall amazing work, and I'm happy you're adding some CSLA units (such as the blackhawk) into the mix! One question: I've missed out on a lot of things recenlty, but I keep seeing grass in some addon pics (not just WW2). I was wondering if it will be optional wether we can have grass or not !OR! Thank you for the nice comments btw it's better to avoid the use of "scripted grass" because it will occur a huge lag in game , but don't worry mates , the incoming islands (which will replace BIS islands without to overwrit'em) for the FFUR woodland pack v5.0 will really rock !! Thunderbird 0 Posted July 31, 2005 Of course it will snow using the FFUR winter pack v5.0, in all islands, plus each Theme will have its own sky pack that you'll have to install once the FFUR pack installed. The FFUR winter sky will be misty, cold, artic, cloudy... The Desert and Woodland packs will have the same sky : Clear.. few clouds.. and hot. Btw no ETA... or better to give no ETA and to keep it as surprise , but the release's closer than ever... 456820 0 Posted August 2, 2005 nice crater errects is it the exact same one of ECP or slightly different ? also great blood effects i think i prefer these then ECP's since ECP is kind of like a handfull of blood squashed together into a solid if you know what i mean anyway great work TB cant wait for release is there any sort of eta yet ?
