Looking for new MP missions for server

I am looking for new missions for my server.  I have been running FDF for a while now where a few server admins were kind enough to upload thier missions for me but now my clan and I are looking forward to running the new FFUR 2006 ver 2.5 on the server so I am asking any server admin if they can package up for me any MP missions they have that use only official addons. These maps will be used for testing the FFUR in Mp and general play. Missions that use BAS,USMC,Sebnam, I44, etc, are also welcome. If anyone is interested in helping, just send me a PM or an e-mail. Thanks,   —=R.I.P.=—™       Äě§çěţ|ħ Lounge FDFmod v1.4 Server Admin

    ArmA Progress Updates

I'm tired of hearing that OFP has crappy graphics. Understand that when it was released the capabilities were not there to make it look like the games today. I always thought that the graphics were very good but its the whole package that makes this game so great. Now I just upgraded my video card to a G-Force 6800 GT and with the graphic settings all the way up for OFP it looks amazing. Way more real than todays cartoony looking games. I only hope that AA captures the same realism and from the screenshots it looks lik it will imo.

    Dedicated server Help Please

I had no problem connecting to your server. Â I saw you connecting but you never fully connected. Â Check to make sure your firewall is allowing OFP full access. There are other possibilities but it is odd that I can connect and you can not.

    Dedicated server Help Please

Is the server connected to your LAN or is it elsewhere? If you want I can try to connect to see if it works. Let me know.

    FFUR - Huge Release !!

Great work TB and the rest of the team . I have found one bug though, not sure if it has been reported yet. It appears tha tin the winter pack I have no parachute when ejecting from a plane or chopper. There is a quick blip on the screen of a missing script followed buy my guy disappearing from the screen. Once this happens I have to abort the mission or editor. I've been using a Ti4600 for years with this game. I can run Dxdll with reflections (no post processing),4xs antialiasing at 1280 x 1024 resolution loading either the FDFmod or FFUR and my fps rarely go below 20 on big maps. Usually are around 40. Driver version 45.23

    Win 2003 server woes

You are correct, only that ip was responding. All three DNS ips listed in the router all respond. Â I guess those other DNS ips are no longer valid. Â Thanks for your help.

    Win 2003 server woes

I took another look at the router to see if something had changed cuasing the server problem. Â As a test though I changed the servers DNS entries to the ones that the router has selected. Â It works now. Â What I don't get is why all of a sudden the server is having problems with the DNS entries that the other computers are using with a problem.

    Win 2003 server woes

The server is running on my home network. The server and the other computers on the network all have been using the same DNS entries for well over a year. Only the server is having problems. I am and have been using a router to share the connection. DNS entries: 167.206.3.163 167.206.3.162 167.206.3.229 ISP is Cablevision.

    Win 2003 server woes

Well, I did what you said. The DNS entries are all there but they can not be pinged. Â I'll keep trying to figure it out and if I do not by this weekend, looks like I'll be reinstalling the OS. Â This does give me a reason to finally set up the scsii drives in raid 0 Â . Â Thanks for your reply.

    Win 2003 server woes

For some reason the other night my dedicated Win 2003 OFP server stopped being able to resolve an ip address causing the server status not to be uploaded loaded to OFPWatch.  It is also unable connect to download  any antivirus updates, win updates etc., plus IE can not find any website out side of my LAN.  OFPwatch and OFP along with my TS server still work fine, you just can't see the servers in any browser list.  This server has been up and running for about two years with out until now.  Any thoughts on how to fix this are appreciated.

    FFUR Incoming HUGE RELEASE !!!

Great work guys. Can't wait to experience a new OFP. Â One question though, for online play will it be possible to use the original islands?

    OFP server admins...I need help.

I have been running a dedicated  FDF server for about two years now for my squad with no problems.  I did get the FFUR to run on the on the server with a little work.  Try FDF or wait till the new FFUR comes out.

1.96 Ded Server . Anyone help??

This may sound silly but try disabling and then re enabling the forwarded ports for the OFP server in the router setup a couple of times. Â I know with my set up, it some times takes a few tries to get my Lynksys router to forward the OFP server ports. Every so often it just stops forwarding them to. All other apps, websites, TS... etc not a problem. Â Just the OFP ports give me issues sometimes. Â Same symptoms, can be seen with internal ip but not external ip.

1.96 Ded Server . Anyone help??

I have been running a dedicated server off my home network for a few years now. Â If you see it on the LAN but not from the internet check the router to make sure it is forwarding the ports. Â Ports 2302-2304 need to be forwarded to the machine hosting the server. One way to check to see if the ports are being forwarded is to start the game and try to connect to the server through remote using your external ip. Â If you see the server in the browser the ports are being forwarded.
