RHS releases: GRU, RFMI, SOBR Patches

The Red Hammer Studios proudly announce the release of some minor patches (ALL PATCHES REQUIRE RHS WEAP V1.01!):

RFMI, GRU, SOBR Pack Patches (this contains all three patches) Mirror 1 (requires RHS RFMI v1.00, RHS GRU v1.00, RHS SOBR v0.50)

RFMI Pack Patch v1.01 (requires RHS RFMI v1.00) Mirror 1

Change log:

*added separate JAM config

*added groups

*added engineer with mines and the capability to deactivate mines (RHS_rfmi_miner, RHS_rfmi_miner_vsr)

*added mechanic with limited capability to repair vehicles (RHS_rfmi_mechanic, RHS_rfmi_mechanic_vsr)

*removed MAAM magazine names

*removed action menu "Camo Helmet"

*fixed some AI values (accuracy, sensivity)

*fixed various magazine issues

*lowered armor values for head, arms and legs

*changed vehicleClass string for the editor

*shortened the soldier's names (F = Flora)

*added capability to heal to marksmen, spotters, team leaders and RTOs

*added capability to hide bodies to all GRU units

*removed MAAM magazine names

*fixed some AI values (accuracy, sensivity)

*fixed various magazine issues

*lowered armor values for head, arms and legs

*changed vehicleClass string for the editor

*shortened the soldier's names (G-S = Gorka-S, S = Sumrak)

SOBR Pack Patch v0.51 (requires RHS SOBR v0.50) Mirror 1

btw, forgot to mention that:

ALL PATCHES REQUIRE RHS WEAP V1.01!!!

YEP people the weapon pack patch is by far the most important one. so get that before anything else. Also our homepage has been updated with all the details.

A few of the soldier dont have ammo for the weapons:

Spetnaz rpg22 has no rockets

Spetnaz sniper (big one) has no ammo

And a motor infantry rpg soldier doesnt have any ammo for the rpg.

Only tried these few, I'll go double check. smile_o.gif

Yeah I downloaded the new weapon pack, I reinstalled and checked again, here are the units:

GRU Spetznaz recon with RPG7 both camo-No RPG ammo.

GRU Spetznaz with RPG22 both camo-No RPG ammo.

GRU Spetznaz Sniper leshi-No primary ammo.

Motorized Infantry RPG grenadier both camo- No RPG ammo.

make sure you also have the patches for GRU, RFMI and SOBR installed. i don't have a spetsnaz with rpg22 nener.gif

So far so good, i have only one problem with the shadows, they look like a bunch of overlapping, seperate parts, but everything else seems perfect so far, now if only OFP would run properly with this stupid video card, i feel like throwing my ti4200 back in mad_o.gif .

Good job RHS team, must be really hard to fix such a massive amount of units and weapons, thank you smile_o.gif .

Laser once mentioned he now has quite lot polys on the units so he used very simple shadows to get rid of a few polygons.

Very nice work. I haven't come across any bugs in testing.

As of tonight, the RFMI and GRU Spetsnaz are in EECP. I've been waiting for the patches to add them. tounge2.gif

m... found one bad thing...

RFMI soldiers with helmets wich are camoed with vsr or flora, when board some vechicle this will show up...

that even happens with FDF units. if they can't fix it, we can't, too.

Looking at the NV-goggles I always wonder why someone would like to wear these things. All the enemy needs to do is to aim right between the two green glowing dots. huh.gif

He'll have a rough time spotting them in the dark , they dont glow that much and the guy wearing them would have a better chance at spotting and getting him first.
