Last weekend I have been working on these troops, there are still many versions to be made and pouches need to be added.

Before I continue on them I first need your opinion.

Not sure how many versions..

For now I am creating:

- Regular soldiers

- Iraqi Police troops

- Iraqi Special commando police

- Iraqi Swat

I only need some more photos of iraqi forces.. It is hard to find photos of an army in an early stage like the Iraqi Army

Well, though I voted for very good, IMO its between "OK" and "Excellent" as on the polls. Overall they look very good, clean textures, neat, and good looking...that being said they aren't anything super-spectacular, and there could be a bit more complexity with the vest and gear...even though it is a bitch working with 02, i know

Yep so I put em between excellent and OK...I think that would be "good." They are definately releaseable and I am sure looking forward to these dudes in insurgent missions But as said above, we need a good iraq island..

I like the looks of em though and I do want to see them for sure.

Just a bit more detail I think could be added and then you'd have a great pack.

There will be Insurgents made.. In the same style on textures like these current troops to make it look the same style..

A Iraqi map will be presented soon, When? I don't know.. I'm still doing the plans together with someone.

Iraqi Vehicles are also planned, same for some Iraqi Airforce.. And the iraqi commandos will be the next thing i'll be working on.

Great work. Really nice, especially the shades and folds on the textures. Makes them look less like OFP .

Really I tried O2 and soldier models already and I'm amazed by what some people can do. Your soldiers aren't maybe the best, but You're dooing really well and they are already good enough if You wanted to use them in campaign or something.

You might want to contact rtr commander of the IMUC mod, there's vehicles in the works as well as other Iraq addons and you might be able to do some trading or something.

I believe the IMUC mod is making iraqi forces from before the US invasion.

Ya, but the difference between a mtlb from before the invasion and to the current version is a flag texture on the side.

there definately should be NO REASON to make any new vehicles from scratch..prolly most vehicles used by the new iraqi army have been done by FDF, CSLA or BAS...prolly just need to do a couple retextures...

That's what I was saying before. There are vehicles being made and ones that are already made so that they just need a retex or just the addition of Iraqi flags and they are done.

Anyone who says they are making new stuff that's already been done before(good quality) is wasting their own time.

See some more pics. Offtime' used documentation and photos. Plus he's a texture - ace.

He's also made impressive AKM, SWD, RPG7(best ever) and he's currently making PK. All his addons are open source.

I didnt i was gone make it from scratch  , I have received Sebastians MTLB in MLOD just after he released his addon.

I am also skinning a AK47 model from lt. hunter, just to prectise my skills on weapon texturing. If it will look ok, it will be released with the iraqi troops.

There are a few vehicles that are not made yet, like a M1117 (used by Iraqi Police).

yesterday, I have decided to put the edited models on a hold. I have started creating a totaly new soldiermodel.

I'm not yet sure if I will release it for OFP or Armass.

Anyway here is a little sneakpeak.

Except for the height, did you based the model on the picture behind it? Because if you look good at it then you see that it's a bit shorter then the picture behind it.

But it looks very good already, and the Iraqi forces look also very good.

The current model you see there is a basic shape, at the end i will rescale it totaly to make it fit perfect.
