well its possible to use it without this "being dead" part.

of course one need to rewrite the part to get back to your vision once you are alive again.

thats why i said "out of scope" whistle.gif

put in on the 2do for the ArmA version as feature request:

~ once dead being able to view the reaming players actions

Mapfact respawn download seems to be dead. Any ideas?

First internal 3.0 tests are running well tounge2.gif

No errors found so far ...

Stresstests are planned for the next days ...

(DAC/Grouplink/ECP+RESP3.0)

Suggestion as I can't see it in the thread.

ANTI-WATER

When death occurs over water, the "body" is moved to the nearest land, otherwise its almost impossible to revive a person at sea..

Implemented in PRiMEs Revive/Respawn using code I put together.

Thanks for the code, it's a nice idea, maybe I'll include it in a later version as v3.0 is done by now and I hope that we can release it later today.

Afaik he doesn't use it at once, he meant he'll test the Respawn with both DAC and Grouplink, but not in one mission, smile_o.gif

Wrong raedor !

All in one Mission

because there is a big difference between dac and grouplink ...

DAC sends you all it have and is 100% dynamic

GL2 has its number of groups and you can say how many groups to hunt you.

they steal cars;hunt in houses;use foggrenades and call for arty !

They are not combined but hunt the same targets on its own way pistols.gif

My friends and I have been using 2.0 for a while on our dedicated server and we have been experiencing some problems with the spectating script. The actual respawn works fine, but when you are completely dead and put into spectator mode, It has the tendency to lock up OFP.

It happens almost every single time, and has happened to about a dozen different people. It even happens on the demo missions that come with the DAC scripts.

Do you have any idea what causes this, and if so, has it been addressed in the new version?

I heard this report some times, the problem is that I never had such "tendencies" when I was testing the respawn (and that was quite often). You can switch off the spect script in the respawn options... maybe it works better in v3.0 wink_o.gif

Well I'm sorry but they found a bug now (after some tests without bugs...), so the Respawn v3.0 won't be released aytime soon, as I'm away for 3 weeks now. sad_o.gif

TO RAEDOR:

Hello,

I'm happy to see someone still working on respawn script. I'm looking for long time for a script with what I can respawn on captured spawn points (with starting weapon or without it - I can place weapon box near spawn point so no weapon is needed after respawn).

DAC + Resp are two Projects ... in some DAC Testmaps was RESP included but DAC is without RESP ;-)

ive got a suggestion unless its not already implemented:

~ make a check if only one (human) player is present and switch to some other respawn mode (by default or as option)

btw is it possible to change the type of respawn during a mission ... i guess not (i am talking of respawn = ... in description.ext) ?
