HotShot 0 Posted March 31, 2006 Nice missions. Really liked the one by Eizei (?) forget the name of it, but the one where we had to take out the iTOWs, and shortly after this happened...
sputnik monroe 102 Posted March 31, 2006 Heh we have basically the same shot going. I'm the guy lying prone in your shot. Here is the same scene but from that perspective Here is another shot that was in my fraps folder from a few weeks ago. Awfully gruesome. I actually remember us all attacking this building, we threw several 4kg pile up charges on it. This is all that was left inside when I entered the building. By the way I've finished my co op mission. If you're all interested we can try it out sunday. If so who do I give the mission over to, to get it on the server? hardrock 1 Posted April 2, 2006 Thank you for the nice games! I'm glad we finished Assault on Malden (was that its name?), as far as it concerns me, Jinef was a good head operator. Unfortunately a couple of you died due to unknown reasons, I can only repeat that it wasn't the helicopter. I paid attention to check out every single soldier before putting a rocket on it. Cya wednesday!
kakagoegie 0 Posted April 2, 2006 Thank you for the nice games! I'm glad we finished Assault on Malden (was that its name?), as far as it concerns me, Jinef was a good head operator. It was Attackon Nogova (remember we played on Nogova) Anyway, nice games again. I made a few useless screenies. So here you go, click for larger size: xphs, just standing there and waiting for Jinef to call us in xphs under the belly of the beast xphs, in tank our tactical map the killscore for anyone interested me standing near PAK waiting for the ruskies
Major Fubar 0 Posted April 3, 2006 Was cool to play again...wished I could've stuck around longer for the second mission, was shaping up great...

I paid attention to check out every single soldier before putting a rocket on it. This mission was a really nice one :-) as the remaining part of the infantry squad went along, i found an enemy soldier with an Grenade launcher on his body right 100m ahead of our position, so we can take for sure this was the murderer of our beloved comrades ;-) Anywaysss, Hardrock did a great job with his birdie, thank Kaka for his idea to give us a littlebird with rockets glued on it´s bottom :-) Great game, was big fun to play it such style! Guest Ti0n3r Posted April 3, 2006 That mission was indeed a very nice one. Great leading by Jinef too. Two pics from last night http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/6811/fbr10rb.jpg http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/3420/fbr23hn.jpg Cya next time.
BlackScorpion 0 Posted April 5, 2006 I think I can make it tonight. What's the custom face size limit on your server btw?
Alpha155 0 Posted April 5, 2006 Hey guys, Im back. I uninstalled everything from my computer, but I've reinstalled OFP and Im wondering what the new TS is, I couldnt connect today and also, is there anything new I need? I got everything from the front page.
Guest Ti0n3r Posted April 6, 2006 Thanks for the games. Here's a couple of pics from last night. The two last pics are proof of strange bug. In one of the missions I respawned and took control of Hardrock at the same time as he still had control of himself. Strange... Made me wonder. Who am I? The duel in the first pic was interesting. sputnik monroe 102 Posted April 6, 2006 I've updated my mission one more time. All I have done is to increase the strength of the Finnish force a bit. I changed the Player controlled BT 42 (1942) to a T34/76 and added a single BT 42 (1942) to each of the two AI squads that make up East Jaeger. So in short I added two Finnish AI tanks and changed a player controled one. Anyone have any further suggestions or feedback?
Jinef 2 Posted April 7, 2006 Umm, after failing to register in your forums I suppose we should continue the debate here. On page 52 of this thread is my entire attitude towards CiA. Read it and judge if it is offensive or just constructive criticism.
Guest Ti0n3r Posted April 7, 2006 All I can say is, you're a good leader and a nice person. I don't really care about what you think about the server rules and I didn't find what you said very offensive. But I'm not a member of CiA so... Just my most humbe opinion. Postduifje 0 Posted April 7, 2006 Jinef, you're great at what you do, but someday you'll have to face the fact that people have different ways of doing things, and just because they don't act like you doesn't make them wrong. It's not whether the actual content of your posts in the past were constructive or offensive, it's the way you bring it that has a feeling of cold arrogance and unkindness with it. You are promoting rivalry because of your patriotism towards another server, and thus we will never do anything right in your eyes, and you actually dislike us for that. Basic line is: if you don't like us, don't play with us.
Balschoiw 0 Posted April 7, 2006 Quote[/b] ] I suppose we should continue the debate here. There´s little to debate. You maneuvered yourself into that position so take it like a man. Actio causes reactio. One of the basic life principles. There will be no further discussions about your permanent ban here. Take it to Email or PM. There´s nothing more to be discussed. Blake 0 Posted April 7, 2006 Had a blast last time, especially that Paratroopes mission on Karjala was extremely well coordinated and 2 losses we sustained were mostly due to poor luck. Credits to Fat Tony for accurate mortar fire and Reaper Hardrock for excellent leadership.
eisa01 0 Posted April 9, 2006 I’ll try and be there tonight, but I won’t come after ten as the football league starts today.

Thx for credits, Blake :-) I could do a good training with the mortar, because Post made a great mission for this. It helped me really a lot. As he said we can do with it, what we want, i set up the DL-Link here, so everyone who is interested can try this out: Posts Mortar Training Greets TM
sputnik monroe 102 Posted April 9, 2006 I'll have to give that training mission a shot. The first time I used the mortar was that one mission on Winter Maldevic where you have to conquer the whole eastern half. I remember I did excellent with it and every one (including my self) was surprised and said good job. However the next two times we set up the mortar and I used it in the mission I did awful and undid any praise I may have got earlier heh heh. I think the third time I never hit a single target. In my defense I must say the third time I was on a hill that was higher than the target, it made estimating the range very difficult.
BlackScorpion 0 Posted April 9, 2006 Hmmm that might turn out to be useful - I'll have a look later. I remember my first time with the mortar... It was the mission where there's 2 squads of Spetznaz and they go on a little trip on the other side of the border. First there's the town, then a bridge and some artillery base thing... well we've played it as I remember how I (accidentally) shot Llauma (I think) and later on, AI (kaka's?) shot me when I was about to blow up the guns... Well anyways, it was a public server so it was quite hectic. I set the mortar near the border, but wasn't sure about the range, as there was a forest between me and the town, and nobody bothered to tell the range, so I had to estimate it off the map... well considering the situation, I did fairly well. Well back on topic... I have fairly good amount of time, so I'll propably show up. Maybe I'll do better than during the past few times... my PC really hates me. Nor does Pacific Fighters or OFP work...

sputnik monroe 102 Posted April 10, 2006 Had a lot of fun tonight. Good games all. I've touched up my mission a little bit more and I think it's in Final form now. I've changed the behavior of the trench troops a little and made it where the Finnish advance on Hill 115 is handled a little different. The Finnish advance now is scheduled for 10:00 AM while the mission begins at 9:45 AM. In this way you have 15 minutes to scout and prepare for the coming battle. I'm hoping now to complete work on my other two missions soon. It's been very time consuming working on three different missions simultaneously,
