Chuck. 0 Posted August 9, 2005 well well, some new units guys ' new' guess who Infantery with camo maybe you know it now Regular infantery with camo Para light Light because there are 4 versions of it Para / Para camo / Para Fibua / Para light Para Teamleader SFG Operators for those who still dont now it These are the new Belgian units from the BFS team BFS BFS topic Berets, backpacks and headset used/edited on these units were orignally made by blackblood and are used with his permission. The helmet and holster are used/edited are from Hyk. Gloves and kneepads are made by Suchey and used with his permission. Warrior Xâ„¢ 0 Posted August 9, 2005 The following pictures were taken during Operation Clean Sweep in November 1969 Vietnam. Place and exact date unknown. Operation Clean Sweep's intensions were to clear village area's NW in the A Shau Valley from VC insurgents. Airborne units of the 101st were lifted into the area by Chinooks to do a sweep on the villages under CAS of Snake's. Chinook drops of troops while receiving incoming from a nearby VC position. Same Chinook moving out of the LZ to make room for the next one. Grunts on the ground seek cover in the rice paddy. Fire from a Snake is making mince meat out of the VC position where just before mortars were fired on US troops. Top right one of the Snake's (AH-1 Cobra) is firing into the tree line and finishing of remaining VC forces that are dug in. In the rice paddy the grunts are engaged in a fire fight from the same direction. The second Chinook drops of a fresh squad. Now the LZ is less 'hairy' then when the first one dropped in. Operation Clean Sweep had US forces engage VC insurgents in heavy combat with many losses on the enemy's side.
