BoA 0 Posted February 16, 2005 Have you ever seen the film named Reign of Fire? If you haven't, go and see it now. It's really wonderful. The game, Reign of Fire has already been released on XBOX and GBA. So, I think it can also be set on OFP. But there is a terrible problem. That is no FIRE DRAGON ADDON. Could somebody make one? I think it is just a film or a game. There are still Russians playing OFP. Of course, the storyline of the game can't be the same as the film completely. We can edit it moderately. It's caused by not having new toys, since there's nothing to do with all the great addons that are already out there. Hardly any missions being produced. It's in my sig. I believe only the Warthog was imported from XBOX, but I could be wrong  The title of the thread I believe is "First model imported from HALO PC", I could be wrong though, but I don't think its possible to import anything from the Xbox. belgerot 33 Posted February 16, 2005 Would be a cool idea for a mod, a new type of enemy but the dragons would be a major pain to animate I bet. Lots of work on that and AI, though like most of you said the model could be imported from the Xbox game to save some time. I am not sure whether that is possible but I remember a fellow importing something from Xbox GTAIII or VC into the PC version about a year ago, maybe it could work. I don't mind seeing interesting requests every once in a while but I wish people would take into consideration some of the OFP engine limits more often. I would personally love to have a catapult that launches fire ammunition at a castle though I doubt that will happen, suppose I will just stick with Medieval: Total War and other games of that sort. There's nothing wrong with sci fi or fantasy addons but it seems the only people who make a big deal about them dont know how to make anything themselves. Just some things I've noticed. I can't blame them though, as it is usually the newer people to the community who ask, so they may not know about O2 & stuff . mrbean1112 0 Posted February 17, 2005 Because military stuff is starting to get boring, after we play with aliens and fantasy crap it will go back to military, like try playing doom 3 and hl2 for like a few months, then going to call of duty. It makes it more fun, Variety, like when i was playing with the zombies, for a long time, i couldnt leave my computer, but then i wanted to play more gunfighting military stuff. Now i want to go back to aliens and zombies and huge 50ft beasts (Too bad there arent any) to kill. The point is, we will go back to wanting military eventually, but right now, We want fantasy crap.
