pajama 0 Posted February 2, 2005 "Live your dreams" Right... Dose this also include koser M.R.E.s? Bah, Ninja edit! 17. Is the food kosher? The food is strictly kosher under the supervision of the local rabbinic authorities. (It is delicious and filling too.) 10. Does this program make me an Israeli soldier? The answer to this one is no. BUT, you will train like them using the same techniques as they do and be trained by actual combat veterans.

kerosene 0 Posted February 2, 2005 Is this a one off or does it run every year?
theavonlady 2 Posted February 2, 2005 Is this a one off or does it run every year? 1. It sure sound like they're interested in an ongoing business. 2. They seem to be just starting, with a first time event in May. Chances are they'll schedule more throughout the year, I would assume. 3. Contact them and post back here with their reply. Blake 0 Posted February 2, 2005 Must be very expensive to have the whole package. How about if someone just wants to shoot and do some assault stuff?
theavonlady 2 Posted February 3, 2005 Must be very expensive to have the whole package. US$3600, says the site. Airfare not included. Quote[/b] ]How about if someone just wants to shoot and do some assault stuff? Doesn't seem they have such programs. There's a shooting range somewhere here up north that lets you fire away with a multitude of weapons (guns - not grenades or ATs).
Blake 0 Posted February 3, 2005 That's got to be the place a friend of mine visited, he got to shoot with UZIs etc.

Could you please stick to the hand and take this conversation into PM please? Thanks CT camp, eh? I wonder if you get to play a team of Tangos, all armed with airsoft, and trying to shoot each other whilst trying to difuse a bomb mockup Seriously though, sounds like fun
Nemesis6 0 Posted February 5, 2005 So you have to be 17 to join the IDF, or at least that's when you're elligible for conscription. Hmmm, Well, I'm 16Ë, so I guess age isn't that much of an issue in this case. Still, it's pretty damn expensive! This might be something one could talk to his family about: Ignore 4 or 5 of my birthdays totally, and after that, pay for a trip to the counter-terrorism school, and ship me to Israel. Once again, if they could just devide the price(3,600) by two, I bet they'd have many more applicants. Quote[/b] ]Need a chaperon, junior? Thunderbird 0 Posted February 5, 2005 What's the real utility of a camp like this ? why to need to learn using weapons to everybody ? Isn't enough to play to flashpoint only?
