FlashFX replacement Units

You use ICP soviet infantery, very good, but you use HYK woodlan 2003 with that  sad_o.gif , when we did'nt have soviet infantery, ok, but now......Soviet Union removed december 25th 1991.....what HYK made 1985 infantery for your mean?

 You are 17? you are not 13? or 21?

I guess you are talking about the OFrP forum and possible problems between you and that user ?

In that case , how about to -not- take those personnal problems to the BIS forums according to the rules about "cross forums" ?

Binview is a must have when learning how to replace units.

1.96 and 1.96beta are basically the same. You should look somewhere else ...

I am anyway facing the same issue, where only units are not replaced by addons. I did a mod installation ... or some kind of mod install (installed most addons in FLASHFX/addons instead of Res/addons) that does not fully work, maybe I don't have the right config file in /res tounge_o.gif

Not exactly, the name of the beta and the final executable are not the same, so making a shortcut pointing to flashpointbeta.exe will not work if you have the final 1.96 patch installed.

Oh and i advice people to really use mod folder , to keep their default BIS files and folders clean, it helps a lot to manage mod folder as you can activate only what you need, helping a lot OFP to manage unofficial addons in memory (and for performance, the less, the better)

With your final version i get a 5t-nato-truck-magic.... error.

Could anyone tell me, how to enable the satchel beep from INQ-mod?

And how to disable the new tracers? Nice gimmick, but in a heavy firefight its annoying  crazy_o.gif

Make sure you have marfy/MP trucks addon in your folder, if not grab it from here

Thx, ppl on our server mentioned some lag since adding the tracers.

Ok, i got it (them) finally. In that package there are 3 pbo´s. i added them into my addonfolder. seens to solve the problem, don´t ask why..  rock.gif

Right... i got it all working fine until i complete a mission, at the end it just CTD without any errors or nothin? crazy_o.gif Missing addons?... i got all of them though.

I've removed the tracerFX at the request of certain people, now all must function correctly, I thank you for your patience and I present to you my excuses for the errors which have occurred before wink_o.gif

Has anyone test it in mp, especially in CTI, I loved to play mp with different models e.t.c. Everytime I play mp things worked fine in a couple 10-30 min (varies on what type of mission) If i am playing cti after 10-15 mins of playing, the game froze. However when I play with regular FlashFX (the one without units replacement) everything work flawlessly... any idea why??

Note: this problem also occur when I load EECP

The way I install this mod, I didnt actually put everything in an addons folder. I created a mod folder called ehanceflashfx, then put addons, dta, and bin in that directory. Well I am sure you get the idea. But by making this mod folder may have caused the effects that i've been getting??

Eestikas88 , So I can replace BIS mh-47 by BAS one but it'll be impossible to replace BIS mh60 by BAS one , because BAS doesn't have model which get only rockets, because there is a mission of the campaign r 1985 which requires destroying a BMP sad_o.gif

But I'll see what can I do

but thats v 1.0, thats the one with .jpg textures...

1.1 has .paa textures = less laggy
