Itseme 0 Posted February 2, 2005 I tried this out yesterday and i have to say that this a great piece of work. Flashpoint was never so realistic, the atmosphere is much better now . At least it takes very long to load a mission for me, but that may depend on the low Ram i got : 256. I have just one question when i fire the tracers seems to bouce around from the ground is that the ricochet from the bullets or is it caused by the script it seems a little bit weird cause they fly about 100meters heigh, even when i hit a guy? Shoulddn't it stick in his body? Not really important , i appreciate the mod very much and will start playing the campaigns again. Thanks for that. Tu l'auras donc ce soir si ce n'est pas trop tard. I would avoid to have laggy script like explosion and blood. In ECP we can disable script like blood, explosion, helo rotor failed, dust, etc.......... But ECP don't fit for me because there's still bug with savegame and ECP core is very laggy. Don't waste time with me. I will you send the original config.bin and i'll try to learn how replace BIS units by other in original config. Totala 0 Posted February 2, 2005 First of all I must say that your web site will be of great interest ... second, I should also tell you that your FFXUR pack is getting more and more popular among my Teamates ... as I said the installer did help a bunch indeed  What else ? It would be so nice if your wonderful "misc pack" would be included in the full pack. The same goes for the GMR pack... As far as I understood, the GMR pack is "basically" a 4th config.bin or does it also include some extra stuff ? Now, comes the two questions : 1) FFX or GMR ?  2) what sound.pbo would be the most recommended ?? I very much like the idea of your "proposals" as mentionned in your first post. It would be nice if you could give a bit more comments on them, such as wether they are MP compatible or not ... MP is still for us the main interest of OFP  Keep on feeding us with your very nice pieces of pack !!! Itseme> Last, I have 2 Gb of RAM, and missions including SP still takes quite some time to load and be ready to play ... I guess it is also cpu dependant ... Thunderbird 0 Posted February 2, 2005 Hi Totala D'abord merci pour les compliments , ça fait toujours plaisir The FFUR.exe install the Misc pack too , you may just copy it to your OFP folder You're right , so the GMR pack is another config , it's a pack intended for standard CPU, it offers effects of explosions extraordinary but not of the same value that those of flashFX which are definitely better, but the advantage with the GMR it's that it compatible "online", while for flashFX UR it's necessary to choose the config the best suitable one with the CPU than one has. thus there are 3 configs without the patch and 5 with the patch "FFUR Multi config 1.9" : perfectly usable online "FFUR ORCS+blood+BN tracers 1.9 : the best one to play in "Solo" because it uses a multitude of the best scripts . "FFUR FXtracers+BNtracers 1.9 " : it's intended for players who want to play to their missions and campaigns using both good tracers scripts "FFUR Low CPU config 1.9" : it's for players who have a very low cpu , playable "online " and in "solo" and finally the "FFUR GMR pack 1.49" this one is usable perfectly online and "solo" . about the sound pack , it offers sounds using real guns sounds done by Chamy but if you dislike it you can install another Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

SPQR and Thunderbird, while I appreciate what you've both done for the community, this isn't the first time that there's been trouble between you two. If something happened on another board, it needs to stay there. If I reopen this thread, it'll be an automatic one week PR for whomever starts poking a stick at the other.
