wheres my rabbit ? 10 Posted January 10, 2005 had this knocking around my HD for a while .. originally made it to try and fix the weather transition in llauma's sky pack cos i liked his kinda average everyday sort of sky. other sky packs look great but are to dramatic for every mission IMHO. not posible to fix his sky so i just made new textures to suit my own taste.until now only me and 3 friends have been using it so i thought i'd share it ... its basically the llaumax pack with parts taken out or remade (kept inq nightvision but remade the optics so there more full screen so not really gud for player on player games at night cos its kind of an advantage...but great for singleplayer and coop games).also made some new rain. download
Pathy 0 Posted January 10, 2005 This is great, the textures look fantastic, and the transitions actually work, unlike Llaumax, which although is nice, suddenly goes from rainy to sunny. And the rain textures are mint! The updated NVG optics are also quite nice, these have a much better field of vision! This is replacing Llaumax on my hd. llauma 0 Posted January 10, 2005 Nice skies! Too bad you couldn't find a solution other than making bigger textures. You get the paa/pac compression flaws but I guess you have to live with them if you want a smooth weather transition.

xnodunitx 0 Posted January 14, 2005 I still cant get the sky to work,I'm eager to see the rain and everything but it just won't work the only sky that works is the namsky (beta I think) and thats only cause it has a 98/ME installer (by the way,I run windows ME) does anybody know of a way I can get this to work?
Hit_Sqd_Maximus 0 Posted January 14, 2005 Llaumax has a me/98 installer. What you can do is just put the textures from this sky pack and put it into llaumax newdta folder and run the installer. The mod folder wont be named the same but you will get the same result.

Check the LlauMax thread for the right files. mr_dna.. check my latest fixed sky pack to get installers for both win98/ME and win2k/XP.

xnodunitx 0 Posted January 15, 2005 It works perfectly! well...I tend to not see the rain exactly but oh well,I am going to see if it was just a map issue or something,is there by any chance a way to make the sky get dark when its storming like in the namsky pack and hiskies http://ofp.gamezone.cz/news/pics/hisky3.jpg ? Yes the rain could be more visible but add some fog and you'll see it better. I don't think neither me or wheres my rabbit wanted to do a dramatic sky but more a ordinary gray rainy sky. The custom water textures do not work with Keg's reflective water so we haven't included them. The earlier version of LlauMax had them but that was before DXDLL was out. If you still want new water textures just download Status Cz's water textures and add the .pac files to the newdata folder before reinstalling the sky pack.
