Irish Interim troops

Basically i'm the last person active on this team, and im just going to try and get my elements of the pack done. The weapons werent my domain but they are pretty important to the pack and apparently are nearly done so i'm willing to take them over.

Things like the choppers i don't see as important.

Anyway, what i'm trying to say is that my main focus is sorting the infantry, the weapons, and the jeeps. I might just get around to making a mission or two depending on how time goes but its about 50-50 whether ill do that or just release.

Edit: It IS about time these got out the door, the troops are in exactly the same state as when i left 6 months ago

I thought the chopper pack was basiclly done?

I dont know anything about the chopper pack, if its done then whoever is doing it can release it but i'm not adding it to my to do list, i think the F350 and the troops are more important.

Dude, this mod is doing this for nothing (as do all mods)... why do people expect mods to do what they want - it's good to suggest ideas and such but moaning or telling them what they want isn't really fair on the team.

Oi Pathy, I'm active too, finished my A levels now so I can get back on track

Weapons........done model-wise, configs need doing though

Troops........New config underway already, but I'm going to see what Pathy comes up with new-feature wise

Helis........no idea how Manhunter is getting on with these sorry, you'll just have to wait longer

Missions.......... Imshi had a couple of basic ones, but these are way down the "to-do" list right now

Still leaves us with weapons, troops and the F350 in the pack, but at now i dont have to worry about the troop config anymore   The troops arent far off being done, i dont have alot to add, a model with rolled up sleeves, some extra gear, not alot more than that though.

Oh and maybe a special unit   I wont go into that right now.

Weapon configs - now those i am ace at, mate, if you want i will sort those, piece of cake.    (going to regret saying that i can tell, as i waste 5 hours hunting for the missing }; )

I guess i am going to have to texture the weapons too?

The active team is 1 modeller/texturer/config guy (thats me) and Eddie, whos doing the troop config. Theres only so much we can do.

When Manhunter has more time on his hands im sure he`ll get round to finishing the choppers, but i`m not going to worry about it. Just get my 3 bits done.

Weapon config, go for it if you want/have the time, we were going for JAM, ADF and BIS AUG mag compatibility. Give me a shout on msn about those new thingies when you/they're ready

Er I'm not quite dead yet

Just too poor to spend much time online till I finish my annual obligation to Willie the rat, might even be getting broadband once I get a full time job (also increasingly likely to be for Willie).

I'll be on ex. for all of July but expect to get me back on stream and at work (what exactly do I do on this project again?) in August.

The Helicopters are actually just missing a simple config and are otherwise in a releasable state so an airpack with Dauphin, AIII, Puma, PC-9 and Pilot is actually the closest to releasable.

All you need to do is sort out priorities and get Silent to knock out a config.

Someone might also ask make an early request for BWmods EC-135 model.

And again you can have a look at the reccomended 3rd Party addons list on our Forums for inspirations on what could be retextured and slightly edited to make an Irish unit.

May have been a bit immature, but then again why go crazy over a chopper pack when there are no soldiers to use it with?

I honestly do hope the best for this mod, I cannot wait until I see a few releases of some sort but ofcourse I do expect them to be done only when they are ready. Just hearing of an actual F350 in game is exciting, especially if it is one similar to the one shown in the pictures. Good luck with everything guys.

Yes I did go blind just now, very nice progress on the Ford!! Hope all goes well with the rest of the modelling process. My father owns one that is similar so I know I will definately appreciate seeing this beaut in game. Nicest truck out there IMHO.
