AEF-Campaign: Train Addon FINISHED

Hi to all,

It's now [23:00 German Time] o'clock and it's definetly the most important post I ever made

Here it is, the AEF-Train Addon. Over 2 years work are in it and at first I want to thank those people, who joined and left the team, during the development process and who helped us with their work or just with some new ideas. As there are:

Members who left the team:

-Halllo_Fireball, who made the first engine

-Tito Tarantulla

-Black_Eleminator (I hope I spelled his name correctly)

-MP Studio, still a bit active at www.mapfact.net

-TakeOffTim, who supported us with his scripting skills

-DevilDawn, for his scripting and camera skills and for new ideas

-Zap Schlitzer

-dumbscream, who actually has no internet anymore

-Seppel(Long, long ago)

-Winny, for his ideas and addons (submarine)

-Vektorboson

And those, who're still there

-Lester, there since the start, as "supporter" who turned into an all around genie

-Dschulle, godfather of scripting , also there since we started

-Metzgermeister, our webmaster, there since we startet as well

-Odin, joined 1 and 1/4 year ago

And to those, who supportet us with new ideas.

Treben is the AEF-Demo Island, not Phoenix Island

There is also a new version of the reallights addon.

Please read the readme(s), which will explain you everthing I hope. There is also an example mission, and I think some others will follow next week.

A small bug was discovered when trying to enter the stakes waggon. This is now fixed.

Just reload AEF_Train

plz try to use This Server to Download.

There is no Trafficlimit and Max Speed from 10MBit available

otherwise use:

Just replace the Original AEF_Train.pbo.

there had been one little change, you definetly need the newest version of the IndustrialPack, but out mirror is anyway rigth

There is a tiny bug with the training mission, after you finish it successfully and you click continue, it goes back into the mission, but its pitch black. Other than that - amazing Congratulations lads, I am now off to blow your trains to hell

Simply incredible to finally see this in OFP. I want to thank you guys very much for all the work you put into this, it is a major barrier broken, even I could not imagine an actual working train in the game. I am very pleased with this addon, again, thank you!!!

Sadly it is not MP compatible (extreme lag) - so i'm gonna have to wait for the new version with Phoenix Island until I can ambush my bro driving the train

Very nice work. But I can't seem to derail it. I guess it's not derailable? And I put a soldier on the tracks while train was coming and train didnt kill him, just pushed him in front of train. Kinda funny. Also I put a 4 M1A1's on track and train pushed them all away w/o getting any damage or derailing. Very nice work otherwise. I absolutly love it!

AI is annoying me, just drives back and forth Am gonna read the readme, prolly its in there
