I like the cammo scheme - is it designed specifically for the countryside in Finland?

I remember when the Australian army first changed over to Auscam I thought "ugh, looks terrible"...but now I'm used to it, it makes a lot more sense for the Australian countryside and the hues of our foliage.

Like DPM (Disrupted Pattern Material) of the British Army is designed for the British/Euro rolling countryside.

what all(most) combat uniforms has a loose fit so it dosen't anoyes you in enyway when you are running for you life and you have room for winter clothing inside still being mobile not felling that you are wearing tight leather pants. Also if you are stupid enough to run into barbe wire don't blame the clothe if you can't get loose.

Will be a loooooong time before regular conscripted cannon fodder gets to even see these. Adopting m/91 camo pattern took plenty of time too. Unless of course one belongs to those yuppie units who get sent to 3rd world hellholes to save the world.

That one looks to be the waterproof version (material looks plasticised, cuffs and zipper have large covers etc)

So the material would naturally be darker because of the waterproofing.

Nice uniform. But i have heard that US is making chameleon camouflage. It change it color in desert it looks like sand, in jungle it loks like grass, etc. almoust invisible.

It will be enter to US army in 2026.

Some positives and negatives about that.

Positive: 1 issue and thats it wherever the deployment

Negative: Must be bloody expensive

There a good side to that. If u need to defend a area in the snow. Just lie down and u got ur self a firing pit.

Ofcourse you have to take in account that this is the first picture about the new uniform. Hell, these guys might not even be finnish at all

I'm not so sure. The m/91 was only supposed to be a short term solution between the m/62 and the next "system". It was never really meant to be used on a large scale. Which is why we only used it on special occasions in the beginning. They were testing it. This new uniform is really supposed to replace all m/62's and m/91's. Unless our ******* **** for a president decides otherwise.
