Very nice addon... fun to fly around with it on A Shau...

It just needs half of the runway to land or take off (and they are short on A Shau...)

Great for Omani campaigns too (if I can learn the texturing skills required... ). The landing strip at Sarfait had a windsock mounted in the engine of a Caribou which came to grief there - still got the pics somewhere...

Very nice addon.

Fits both vietnam era missions and current era third world missions, since it is still in both civilian and military service in a lot of countries.

Um... I have a big problem....

When the plane takes off, the gear goes up....while its still on the runway. The plane ends up bouncing down the runway on its belly until it takes off finally. I guess its STOL, but its bizarre way of getting airborne (the bounce method).

Other then that the planes seem nice.

I just ran a test on Everon, Maldon, Nagova and several addon maps and can not recreate this problem.

Just out of interest what game inhancement addons do you use?

ok after having a talk with Lupus[WD] I decided to make bou TAG compliant but if that doesn't fix your problem well you are on your own.

And thanks for keeping the 60's Wallaby Airlines scheme, there is no aircraft more at home on either Phuoc Tuy Province or Ia Drang for that matter.

This brings back some memories ....... the great loud low rumble of the engines you could hear coming for miles ....... and them slowing cruising overhead as they dropped the food supply boxes to us ...... or the fodder drops to the standed cattle on high ground ..... us and them trapped for 2 months because of flooding .... 1974 ....

1974 was a very busy year for all RAAF transport crews.

I will never forget christmas morning when my old man got the call about 6am to head to Darwin.

That following month effected him more then anything, including Nam.

Yeah, use my pc to play it. Works fine.

One of the things which I find a little off is the sound of the engines... could those be replaced by something that really sounds like a multicylinder engine?

It is actual recording of bou in flight. Could not get the recorder hiss out of the background which is annoying (dont have sound mix prog) but if you have something better plz send it and I will update for next ver. coming soon.

Also still waiting on reply from the few you where checking new bou.pbo.
