I don't think that there will be desert versions of these. The SAS might have some additional camo colors, but you won't see anything but jungle SAS until after we release the Colombian campaign.

Guys, there mod doesn't focus on any desert stuff so I see no reason why they should waste their time on desert textures for units . I'd much rather see them focus on their jungle stuff and Colombian units. Also the island .

It would be easy to say OMG another DELTA pack but they look the mutts. Love the blood group detail and the shades on the other guys.

I am a fraud though as you know I am into UK kit   so I really am looking forward to the SAS units.

Do you also have plans for SBS using CoC Divers? Like the recent SEAL Pack. Details of SBS are hard to come by.

It's a bit OT perhaps, but a recent posting on the Special Operations mailing list reported that recent events in Iraq have created a serious rift in the professional relationship that exists between the SAS, and SBS. An SAS commander said that basically, the SBS was for all intents and purposes, completely incompetent in matters involving land warfare, and frankly, wouldn't work with them if he could help it. They've also seriously cocked up missions, causing a serious loss of mission equipment, ( abandoned a Land Rover, weapons, SATCOM radios, and intel gathering sensors. ) and assets. This resulted in intelligence, and operational security compromises that may be detrimental to Her Majesty's government, and future operations. I do remember reading about that mission months ago, but at that time, I read that it was an SAS operation. I think what was concluded was a need for more training for SBS, and more emphasis for combat, rather than retreating in the face of engagement.

And before I get any hate mail about this, I'm just posting about what I've read. Got it?

About the Deltas, I don't hope Pathy minds me posting abit of extra information.

The Deltas are the result of many many hours of work, and you can look forward to them.

They will feature enough weapons to supply a small army with diffrent loadouts and set-ups.

The last I heard from Pathy was that he was prepearing a Special Forces Weapon Pack, but you never know with him, it could have changed by now.

It will included, Earls M4's retextured by pathy himself, and C8 and C7's just to add to the varity

Currently we're fixing a few bugs, we've also gotten some profesional feedback on them so we're takeing steps to makeing them even more realistic.

Further more, I would like to tell you of all the wonderfull revolutionary features the deltas will have, but I can't, not now anyway, it's still a work in progress.

I would like to tell you all about the things we have planed but I can't you can just sit back and remember, we have these blokes on your harddrives

And if you should wonder, yes I was bored and I need to post.

I will do my Nightstalker duty and post some pictures tomorrow.

Seems someone wants to see screens of our SAS. Maybe later, something to keep warm for now. Ok basically, the model and textures are done but until the US SF are finished, its not going anywhere, IE ingame....and i hate releasing buldozer screens. Depends how much you beg me. And i hope not alot.

Anyhow, i have just got back of my selection course for my gap year and am absolutely shagged out....thats just a figure of speech by the way, although i'd like to say there were 10 of us lads and 32 girls there, so....if your looking to pick up some fine honeys, go on a gap year      

Ermm yeh, my point is i'm absolutely shattered (they got us out of bed at 4am last night to walk for 3 hours around a bleak and windy hillside up on the Buxton moors) and ill get back to you tomorrow.

OK we'll we have 2 advisors both US military, both with links to US SF. And both have said they are impressed with the addon In my mind that speaks volumes

One of them has also advised us to drop the Delta/Green Beret thing and just call them all US SF Operators, as in the field you would not be able to tell the difference anyway. Thats something we are seriously considering.

Hey Huey, glad you like them    It would be very easy and thats why i said i was expecting a mauling    But it seems quality speaks for itself, and it says: "If your gonna make a comment like that i'm going to kick your ass out of here"  

Edit- besides its a US SF pack which happens to include Delta.

We've just cracked the random blood type script and are fixing other bugs (mainly missing textures on LODS). So now when you load a unit ingame it will have a random blood type patch based on real life stats (most common being O+ and A+ ect). There is going to be one other special feature that you havent seen yet based on some work by another addon maker awhile back But taking the theory and making it much improved. We hope.

SAS pack, as i said its on the back burner with the US SF being the priority atm, but thanks to UKF, the model is pretty much done for the woodland/jungle guys (thats my end), i dunno where the desert units are at (fugies end), but i think they arent faring badly    Just needs a few more sets of webbing and then getting ingame. I dont like showing buldozer shots but,

I dont think we will do SBS though. You know how it is

Maybe they are a little dark, nothing I can do about that, I even added brightness in Photoshop.

Either turn up the brightness on your monitor or wait untill next time, nothing more I can do.

They are currently in the BETA stage, and we are in the process of ironing out any bugs we find. Then once that happens, we will try another BETA version, and over and over until perfect

I will make a mental note to keep taking and posting pictures for you though.
