This is a sentry post type bunker mounted with laser turboblaster with a gunner and officer which can be used with buildings and warehouses ( espacially those created by AgentSmith and others) to provide security while heavier equipment are being created by others for the sci-fi or starwars mod.

Nothing special, except perhaps it comes with rotatable lights - turboblaster X shines directly infront and turboblaster Z shines 35 degrees up to the air. With a 'scan horizon' command it will rotate with lights on a single axis. ( This addon would need the PC stormtroopers addon as it doesnt use ofp soldiers)

Once unzip and added to addons folder..in mission editor u can find it under East > armour.

Downloading this file is nearly impossible. Maybe i dont have enugh luck :]. Anyway - please inform sites like ofp.bmj.pl or ofp.info about your wonderfull addon next time. That coud prevent situation like this one....

Thanks for the comments but woah! go easy on the praises, lol! My addons are crazy half baked ideas cooked on an overdose of french fries and stale coffee over lonely nights.

The other addon makers are more dedicated and i stand in awe of them. You should see the other versions of stormtroopers and ATAT by the actual starwars mod - its awesome!!!!....not to mention a whole lot of other realistic modern and historical addons created and being created!

Lets see if we can all break down the limitation walls of ofp further!

i was riding along in my speeder bike and they wouldn't shoot at me. maybe i have to put in some type of coding. I rode right through the middle of a column of them on either side. what code do i put in to make them shoot at me? they didn't even aim at me.

Bowery, that's strange.... cos in my tests i used all classes of vehicles from each sides and the sentry posts attack all western types vehicle or men and resistance if u set them as friendly to west. The only types the sentries dont fire are civilian all classes, same as ofp default.

For plane class, its a bit tricky for there are conditions:-

1. The plane must attack first

2. The speed of the plane have to be below 300km/hr..which would be a reasonable realistic speed to seek out the target, attack and confirm any kill.

At no time would u need to put anything in init or use scripts. But as a failsafe measure whereby the sentry doesnt process the speedbike's config, try at sentry init: this dofire speedbike -where speedbike is the name u call the bike. dofire command is a last resort command that will make AI fire at anything - civilian or their own side even.
