You can say that it extends the broadcasting time of important events. And that's an important event, isn't it? I don't understand why Vassel and Heskey( )get selected every single time, whilst other English top strikers like Beattie, Phillips and Smith get ignored every time. They would be the perfect foil for Owen (who shouldn't start every match, IMO). Oh well, they are still winning.
