hellfish6 7 Posted June 6, 2004 What are the blue vests for? Does the British Army use Warriors with TOWs or Milans mounted on them? I know I've seen pics, but nearly all deployed Warriors only seem to come with the 30mm.
DKM Jaguar 0 Posted June 6, 2004 What are the blue vests for? Does the British Army use Warriors with TOWs or Milans mounted on them? I know I've seen pics, but nearly all deployed Warriors only seem to come with the 30mm. 1. those are UN vests (there was a mix-up with which troops to use for the screenshot) 2. Yes, there are TOW versions but they are armed with the 25mm bushmaster cannon, and were exported. We have inculded a version, but it is more of an 'extra' The only way a warrior in British Army service can destroy heavier armour (not penetrable by the 30mm rarden) is by the mounted troops using the roof hatches to fire LAW80's from, and I've read of the warrior commanders being able toi fire the LAW80 from the turret of their vehicle, but I don't know if this is acctually done in practice. There's a lot of difference between what vehicles are designed to do and what they can acctually in sometimes

Gen.Carnage 0 Posted June 6, 2004 well, just dont play against those then.. when you are playing as UK in SP, who wants to see brilliant looking enemies anyway? the moment you can see how good they look, you are WAY too close... think about that. besides, we are adding destruction scripts to all BIS vehicles, that will make them burst in flames and pour out large smokeplumes when destroyed. Quote[/b] ]Ah... cool. Thanks for the heads up! I'm looking forward to these. So lemme get this straight... you're including: 1. Warrior 2. Warrior w/25mm and TOW 3. FV432 4. FV432 w/Warrior turret 5. Fox ? Excellent. Â plus landrover lightweights (4 versions) and challengers (allready released) and crew plus soldier models. -ZG-BUZZARD 0 Posted June 6, 2004 Landrover 88s... I just hope they're better than any Landrover I've seen so far... up until now they all had the driver either placed wrongly in the car, or placed correctly but with the steering wheel & dashboard on the wrong side of the car...
Gen.Carnage 0 Posted June 6, 2004 define wrong.. was it in the back? steeringwheels are on the right side
-ZG-BUZZARD 0 Posted June 6, 2004 Yep, in some the driver was in the back, in others on the right and steering wheel on left side... completely and utterly useless for anything but taking pictures...
Gen.Carnage 0 Posted June 6, 2004 rest assured, this will not be mainland version of the landie, driver position is front right, with accompanying steeringwheel in correct place. (in front of the driver).

(in front of the driver). what?? thats outrageous! i want my steeringwheel to the right on the door!!......... just for that im gonna 'attach' you to the steeringwheel and put it on the front bumper, the moment you attempt to steer the thing you will rotate yourself under the wheels and get run over by, and while driving your own car LOL
