Tovarish 0 Posted January 29, 2004 I'd prefer the MiG-25 flight - edge of space at Mach 2.5-
Bordoy 0 Posted January 29, 2004 I'd prefer the MiG-25 flight - edge of space at Mach 2.5-3 One of my teachers did that or it was probably a MiG-27, but deffinite a MiG.
VALKYRIE 0 Posted January 29, 2004 I saw someone on TV doing it a while back, you get G-suit to go over you clothes and told to hold your head back if ejecting or your neck will break and that's it   talk about crash corse "powerful turns both by flight instructor as well as the customer "   WooHoo

Baron Hurlothrumbo IIX 0 Posted January 29, 2004 A MiG-23UB Flogger C has two seats and can go mach 2.35 (For some reason, Mig23 + mig27 are both called flogger?) Anyway, most military aircraft have two seat variants for training.

Anyway, most military aircraft have two seat variants for training. One is a ground attack varient, with a few extra modifications. The difference wasn't enough to warrant a new NATO designation. I believe the Russians call the two models by differing names.
killagee 0 Posted January 29, 2004 Apparently in Vladivostock the Air Wings there raise money by taking people for flights. My photographer friend went in a french F-1T while his mate went in a Su-27 flanker of some kind. Cost? $1000 US for 15min flight! cheap as!... Will post pics once he gets them digitized and sent to me. Apparently thats not easy over there.

Including the very cool modification of depressable guns - the MiG27 can depress it's cannons by a few degrees (can't remember how many) so that it can make strafing runs without losing altitude. Now imagine how much that would rule as an OFP addon ...
Architekt 0 Posted January 29, 2004 There was a competition to win a mig 25 flight with one of the local news papers here, I made a bout 20 submissions but I guess it wasn't enough. I'd rather be in a flanker anyway and definately intend to do this. And go and see MAKS at the same time I guess.
