How? We might have official BIS characters and an official story in a BIS campaign, but there won't be too many other differences.

You haven't actually said why your mod won't be like that, you've just said 'Our mod won't be like that' - although I believe you.

Although I'm sure your mod will be very good, I really do not want an official campaign that is *JUST* infantry - that's not what OFP was about - it's about combined arms. Even if you only fought as infantry but with combined arms SUPPORT that would be fine.

You could be a Special Forces soldier, a Colombian regular, a helicopter pilot, etc...

There will of course be vehicles. A large number of light vehicles (E.g. pickups with MGs), and sometimes tanks. There are plains in Colombia, where there could definitely be battles between rebel and army tanks.

2. Why would it be boring? Besides, our map contains plains, mountains, and urban areas, along with jungles and cloudforests.

And yeh its a WIP, im trying to speed it up by getting more modellers and texturers on board, but weve got nobody new on the team as of yet :P If i could get just ONE good weapons texturer, that'd be all the weapons finished within 2 weeks....
