alcazar 0 Posted December 28, 2003 Nice work!! But I'm not seeing the ammo picture in the 'gear' screen.
Matthijs 40 Posted December 28, 2003 Nice work!! But I'm not seeing the ammo picture in the 'gear' screen. Shit. You're right, it's gone. And I don't know why. The file is there, the config line is there, but no picture!?! *deep sigh* I'll see if I can fix it. (to be continued...)
Matthijs 40 Posted December 28, 2003 Ok, v1.2 is up. Let's hope it will remain at this version a bit longer now. Same link, new filename.
alcazar 0 Posted December 28, 2003 Thanks, that's sorted - but whatever was the problem?
Matthijs 40 Posted December 28, 2003 Thanks, that's sorted - but whatever was the problem? There was a quote sign (") floating around, somewhere in the config. It took me at least an hour to find out what was wrong.
da_ofp_man 0 Posted December 28, 2003 OK another good AT weapon to shoot at Russian tanks thx
GoOB 0 Posted January 12, 2004 First of all, great work on this AT4. I really love it! Very nice new textures and improved model! I especially love the fact that the sight and handle actually unfolds! A few suggestions; Please add a script similar to the one Operation Frenchpoint used on some of their AT-weapons. The "non-reloadable" script, so that you cannot reload for example an AT-4. One of the best scripts in OFP history IMHO. Adding multiple versions of the AT-4 would also be nice, like a HP version (high-penetration) and a HEDP version. Very nice job, and I hope to see more of this in the future! r1c0cH3T 0 Posted January 13, 2004 Also, I've noticed that the rocket doesn't come out streight. Not sure if it's just me (or the fact that it was version 1). Nice work though.
desantnik 0 Posted January 13, 2004 sweet launcher... now (not to push or anything) but if you do plan a project could you focus on some Russian gear please?
Crowley 0 Posted January 13, 2004 Hmmm, since I know jack about OFP addon creation and haven't tried this yet; would this weapon work if mounted on a wheeled vehicle or would the weapon classfication need to be changed around? Looks good though, Ill give it a try soon.

The poosibility to mount weapons on a vehicle requires special scripting. Another option is to include a "fixed" weapon on a vehicle. (Apart from the fact that the real thing can't be mounted on a vehicle either...)
miles teg 1 Posted January 13, 2004 You seem to really know what you're doing. Hats off to a great AT-4. I've fired the real thing a few times in the Army and always liked them. One idea for a killer AT weapon that nobody has created yet is the infamous AT-3 "Suitcase Sagger" used by countries all over the world. Making it however would demand a great deal of knowledge of animations and proxies which is why you seem to be the man who could make something like that. But I know that you probably have other projects you want to work on so its just an idea if you're ever bored and want to make something that would be very useful in OFP. (Apart from the fact that the real thing can't be mounted on a vehicle either...) I thought the Dutch army used BO-105's with AT-4's or are those TOW missiles? I guess it is a different thing with weapons zeroed and rigged to an electrical trigger opposed to weapons on a rotating plate. I know that the old SEAL DPV's has AT4's mounted on the sides wich I think were launched with an electrical triggering mechanism aswell. Also, is there any possibility of making a AT4 "boobytrap" version? As certain armed forces use AT4's as boobytraps. Kind of odd, but it works
nyles 11 Posted January 13, 2004 German Army uses HOT(2) missiles on the BO-105, so I guess same goes for the Swedish.
GoOB 0 Posted January 13, 2004 The Swedish BO-105's dispatched to 4. HKPBAT Stridshelikopterpluton (4th Helicopter batallions combat helicopter platoon) are armed with four Helitow missiles (AKA RBS55H) also the same used by Belgium and Denmark. Noteworthy is that six of the twenty BO-105's assigned to HKPBAT are stationed in Norrlands helicopter squadron where they are used for mountain recsue, nighttime recon and transport. But my question was if the Dutch army used their BO-105's in conjunction with AT4's, since I think I read something about Vixer working on a re-skin of Ebolas BO-105, one with M136 and one unarmed version. Crowley 0 Posted January 14, 2004 (Apart from the fact that the real thing can't be mounted on a vehicle either...) Well, I dont know of any Konkurs-M ATGM for OFP (though I haven't looked) so an AT4 or recoilless rocket would be my choice for mounting, especially since I can't have an ATGM on a wheeled vehicle. Matthijs 40 Posted January 14, 2004 (...) since I think I read something about Vixer working on a re-skin of Ebolas BO-105, one with M136 and one unarmed version. Almost, you're only off only by 2 points. http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/ac/equip/m134.htm To my knowledge, there is no vehicle packing the M136 AT4. In my opinion, the AT4 mounted on the SEALs vehicile looks more like stowed gear, rather than a mounted weapon. I wouldn't like to be in the gunner's position when the AT4 fires as a mounted weapon. A "one time use" version of the AT4 is on our wishlist, but there's a lot more on the wishlist. First things first...
