killagee 0 Posted June 20, 2004 I use a Nikon D-70 Digital SLR Camera. Most stage shots were taken with a Nikkor 70-300mm zome lense, mounted on a Manfroto Tripod at the FOH mix position. Most landscape and close / wideangle shots are with the Nikkor 18-70mm DX Zoom lens that comes with the D-70 Kit. The 300mm zoom lens isnt that great but the Kit lens is wicked! I can really recommend the D-70, its about $2000 NZ ($1000 US?) just for the body, but is comparable to units like the D-1 which are about $6000NZ!

Shashman 0 Posted June 23, 2004 That's a Jeep Cherokee right? Well is it just me or does it look much higher than the ones we get over here in Europe? Like it has bigger suspensions or something?
iNeo 0 Posted June 23, 2004 Of course, everything is bigger in the USA
Hit_Sqd_Maximus 0 Posted June 23, 2004 @Shashman: yes, it has a 4" (10.16cm) lift kit and 31" (78.74cm) tires. Â I'm building a roof rack and grill guard, but my welding skills are pretty bad so it is going really slow. Hopefully it will be looking similar to this when I get it finished. Picture @farmcoot: Not on the road(very often).... Â It has only been drivable for a few days now and you get really funny looks when you pass cars. I started puting the fenders on today, but it is going slow as some of the mounts are bent from the wreck and I have to hammer them back straight. @blackdog: Its a huge improvement, the 1st pic you can see the frame is bent and the bumper is smashed into the engine and tires. The house is just a weekend house on a farm we have. @Ineo: I posted some pics of some of my toys(except for the other Cherokee, that is a friend's jeep)here(notice how green oklahoma grass is)
drow 0 Posted June 23, 2004 That's a Jeep Cherokee right? Well is it just me or does it look much higher than the ones we get over here in Europe? Like it has bigger suspensions or something? because hes tried to turn it into some kind of offroader :P and jacked up the suspension.. sorry about your luck with the crash man, looks liek you have done lots of work on it, hope it pans out for u, i saw a brand new cherokee with the same problem, no front left after a crash, sitting behind someones house with a bunch of old shitty Dead cars, seemed such a waste. Good Luck!
blackdog~ 0 Posted June 24, 2004 Not all cars behind houses are shit. http://www.carsinbarns.com I need to post some pics when I go to the desert again with one of the jeeps, forgot my camera the last time.... Until then: Only 100 miles North... comes with demilled M60, demilled M14, AN/VRC-47 radios, full enclosure, lots of spare parts, and a demilled M47 dragon... the catch is that it doesn't quite run because it's been sitting in a hangar for nine years Speaking of things sitting, I love how when people are trying to sell old cars (not this one, a very nice guy is selling it) they say "RAN WHEN PARKED" - well DUH!
