I use a Nikon D-70 Digital SLR Camera. Most stage shots were taken with a Nikkor 70-300mm zome lense, mounted on a Manfroto Tripod at the FOH mix position. Most landscape and close / wideangle shots are with the Nikkor 18-70mm DX Zoom lens that comes with the D-70 Kit. The 300mm zoom lens isnt that great but the Kit lens is wicked! I can really recommend the D-70, its about $2000 NZ ($1000 US?) just for the body, but is comparable to units like the D-1 which are about $6000NZ!

Skuggan at a Swedish artillery regiment ca. 1945 :P Hehe, nice pictures man. The black&white makes the pictures look more alive somehow. Very nice smile_o.gif

That's a Jeep Cherokee right? Well is it just me or does it look much higher than the ones we get over here in Europe? Like it has bigger suspensions or something?

@Shashman: yes, it has a 4" (10.16cm) lift kit and 31" (78.74cm) tires.  smile_o.gif I'm building a roof rack and grill guard, but my welding skills are pretty bad so it is going really slow.

Hopefully it will be looking similar to this when I get it finished. Picture

@farmcoot: Not on the road(very often)....  wink_o.gif It has only been drivable for a few days now and you get really funny looks when you pass cars. I started puting the fenders on today, but it is going slow as some of the mounts are bent from the wreck and I have to hammer them back straight.

@blackdog: Its a huge improvement, the 1st pic you can see the frame is bent and the bumper is smashed into the engine and tires. The house is just a weekend house on a farm we have.

@Ineo: I posted some pics of some of my toys(except for the other Cherokee, that is a friend's jeep)here(notice how green oklahoma grass is)

because hes tried to turn it into some kind of offroader :P and jacked up the suspension..

sorry about your luck with the crash man, looks liek you have done lots of work on it, hope it pans out for u, i saw a brand new cherokee with the same problem, no front left after a crash, sitting behind someones house with a bunch of old shitty Dead cars, seemed such a waste.

Good Luck! biggrin_o.gif

Not all cars behind houses are shit.

I need to post some pics when I go to the desert again with one of the jeeps, forgot my camera the last time....

Until then:

jeep.jpg

Only 100 miles North... comes with demilled M60, demilled M14, AN/VRC-47 radios, full enclosure, lots of spare parts, and a demilled M47 dragon... the catch is that it doesn't quite run because it's been sitting in a hangar for nine years smile_o.gif

Speaking of things sitting, I love how when people are trying to sell old cars (not this one, a very nice guy is selling it) they say "RAN WHEN PARKED" - well DUH!
