theavonlady 2 Posted May 12, 2004 I would have stayed there for a while, but my girlfriend found it creepy  . You decide. http://academic.algonquincollege.com/students/lope0036/QuebecTrail.jpg She's right. Looks like the Creature From the Black Lagoon locale.
Tovarish 0 Posted May 12, 2004 Great photo's Tovarish! Are these from Quebec as in French Canada? Lovely place, it was the highlight of the last American Tour. Yep, that's the same Quebec . "La belle province". Some of the best bike trails and camp sites I've seen, we plan on spending a few weeks this summer camping there, just like last year. By then, I'll try to have invested in a memory card. Quote[/b] ]She's right. Looks like the Creature From the Black Lagoon locale. Lol well, she does have a strange fascination with horror movies, while hating anything that deals with war. Oh sure, she'd love to watch Ginger Snaps or Red Dragon, but God forbid I bring home Dark Blue World  *edit half a day later* Anyways, here's some shots of a bird that was flying around my place buildng a nest:

SKULLS_Viper 0 Posted May 17, 2004 Can't see it Ralph. Ditto. I'll try and post some pictures soon.I've been really busy raising some wild baby birds, since the mamma bird threw her kids out of the nest, and took off and never came back. (And me being kind hearted I took them in. ;) ) Out of 5 eggs I found, 2 have made it so far, and I can bet these 2 little rascals will make it to adult hood! Â (They are getting bigger every day now) Kinda don't know what to do with them though.I don't think I could let them go.(I'd like to, but I don't think they'd make it for very long out in the world.) Albert Schweitzer 10 Posted May 20, 2004 I am not a great photographer but I thought I need to contribute anyway. Well our property is half forrest and half plain. We realy dont care or worry to what happens in the forrest. It was a great playground for us children. This forrest was once a great famous rose-garden in the late 19th century. So there are quite a few leftovers from that era (even a big MOSAIK-terasse). It was quite messy to get through the forrest so I only took pictures of 2 thingies that were easy to reach. There is a lot more in that forrest to be discovered. We even found silver cuttlery there once that people hid underground at the end of WWII. And then finally a little snake taking a sun-bath. Our lake seems to be quite popular amongst snakes.

hellfish6 7 Posted May 21, 2004 Awesome pics, Albert. Did you grow up there? My family lived in an old home, with the remnants of several outbuildings on the property (carriage house, guest house and, yes, and outhouse as well) and I remember digging up old chunks of decorative stone and various pieces of buildings. Quite fun, but not as much fun as your place must have been.
