A DC3 never has been, and probably never will be fitted with turboprops, unless some one-off testbed exists somewhere.

What's really needed is some way to simulate 3 miniguns firing from the port side.

The south african airforce did operate a DC3 variant with turboprops. It was a locally developed modification

whoa whoa whoa. before we get him makin tonali, and everon, and nogova air versions.. how bout we get him to convert that civi version into a C47 (and perhaps an AC47 as suggested earlier?) for WWII missions. the germans got their Ju52s from TF, now let the Americans get their C47 from martin

Well the turboprop powered DC-3, or Basler BT-67 is still in use, not only in South Africa, but in South America and even some parts of Europe, in fact, the Greek Air Force still use the basic C-47

Hi guys

Know this dc-3 will not be canceled,its one of my all time favourites, and this dc3 is modeled on the 1950`s version and not a revamped turbo prop version which many of the old dc3`s were modified from radial piston engines to turbo props in the 1970`s and there on.

Hi guys

Just to update you all,on my site page i have put a forum

of my own,,well hosted forum,but it works,if you want to pop

in at sometime and chat between each other,please do,and

i will pop in when i can to leave any coments that is asked of me.

I read this,,,

did i use Fs2004`s dc3 model, no, i built it myself,some modified textures only.(fs models at this time cannot be reopened after being saved in mdl format)

And yes it has lots of scripts,it has new engine scripted sounds for engine startup,,,idle, and shutdown

and smoke at startup.

And yes theres even a toilet in the back,that you may be able

even flush..nice

Theres a galley in the front as well.

Lots of texture work to be done,as well as copit clocks and throttle levers also script animated.

lol a 18+ version of the Dc3:

By a script and some anims the option to make love in the toilet will be enabled like: you are walking with 1 girl and your self ( boy ) to the back of the plane and then the option: make love is enabeld and then if you select it:2 extra cargo slots will be availeble....and you know the rest

Hmm. It looks like another addon maker who has no idea, what are sharp/smooth edges in O2 good for  

I'm sick from good models with "cushion" lighting. Why when somebody spent month of work on modeling and texturing he cant spent another few hours with adding sharp edges at places where it should be??
