BraTTy 0 Posted October 20, 2003 Does anyone know how you make shadows for weapons??? Don't need to make them, your model needs less than 300 faces to generate one Put in "named properties" a selection named "lodnoshadow" , "1" for any visual lod that has more then 300 faces
bmgarcangel 0 Posted October 20, 2003 Whoa let me get this straight. So I put in the lods, visual ones, that have over 300 faces, lodnoshadow and then 1?? Jeez, so i'd bassically put lodnoshadow in all of them except the low polly lods

(Of course it's not very good for performance but sometime you just have to use more faces ;)

bmgarcangel 0 Posted February 8, 2004 Fine i'll just answer anyhow. What you have to do is put the noshadow command with your lods that have the highest point and face count. Then make a low polly model that is specifically ment for the shadow. Make sure it has all the details and no mistakes or it will look a little crappy. Also try and keep the point and face count down!
