Bluesman 0 Posted September 25, 2003 DNA matches so he's pretty much busted I think i read something similar about the earlier SUSPECT in this very thread. He was so busted that they pasted his mug on every newspaper without a shread of evidence. You are still not guilty until proven otherwise, and good that since some time it could be you in the wrong end of the arrest. Harder to pass judgement on oneself. iNeo 0 Posted September 25, 2003 DNA matches so he's pretty much busted I think i read something similar about the earlier SUSPECT in this very thread. Really... I never heard the DNA matched the 35-year-old. Sure, he could've been at NK and lost his cap, be the guy on the security cameras and still not having anything to do with the murder. But then why the hell didn't he contact the police after seeing himself on pictures and pics of police picking up his lost cap.

Read pages 13 and forward and see for yourself. Doesn't matter if they look like bastards. We fortunatelly don't have mob-courts in this country like some seem to want. Still just speculation so far. We can assume yes but not know. At least wait with the torches and ropes til he has entered the court room . BM
iNeo 0 Posted September 26, 2003 Yeah but his DNA was found on the murder knife. But like you said, innocent until proven guilty.
iNeo 0 Posted September 26, 2003 Mijailo Mijailovic, 24 years old. In custody, DNA match.
denoir 0 Posted September 26, 2003 Hmm: and: IMO the 35-year old looked much more like the man from the surveillance cam  But I suppose that the DNA evidence is pretty firm.
iNeo 0 Posted September 26, 2003 The guy on the photos doesn't have to be the murderer cause the actual stabbing isn't caught on camera, so of course DNA is more important. But the guy on the photos would of course have contacted the police a long time ago if he was innocent.
denoir 0 Posted September 26, 2003 No, they've said that it was him on the security cam. On the other hand we don't know how old the other picture is. This made me laugh: It says "The 35-year old appeals to the 24-year old: If you did it, confess. I promise that you'll feel better afterwards." God, one nutcase appealing to another nutcase. iNeo 0 Posted September 26, 2003 No, they've said that it was him on the security cam. On the other hand we don't know how old the other picture is. Yeah I was speaking hypotechtical (sp?!). He -could- be the murderer and some one innocent could be caught on the pictures. God, one nutcase appealing to another nutcase. Â Haha
llauma 0 Posted September 28, 2003 I think that the 24-year-old looks like the one captured by the cams. The passport pic is propably taken at least a couple of years earlier and if you consider that the 24-y-o has had some problems he might have lost a few pounds. The cheeks, chin and nose match. theavonlady 2 Posted January 7, 2004 Confession. iNeo 0 Posted January 7, 2004 Doesn't make much of difference since they have good evidence against him, but hopefully this means they will get a motive aswell, and the family won't have to think about who did it if it wasn't him.

theavonlady 2 Posted January 8, 2004 Any motive given yet?
denoir 0 Posted January 8, 2004 His motive is that he's a psycho, hearing voices in his head. A nutcase and Lindh was more or less a random victim. The irony is that he went to his psychiatrist a couple of days before, asking to be comitted. His doctor wasn't there and he was turned away. There is a core flaw in the mental care in Sweden. The current model was made in the '70s when the dogma was that locking up mentally sick people was inhumane. So instead of locking them up the theory was that if they were let out in the society that they could adapt and get better. The obvious problem is to judge who is dangerous and who is not. And the system has perverted itself into that people who explicitly ask for help are refused. What sucks most is that it's not because lack of funding or anything like that, but it's done on purpose. SpeedyDonkey 0 Posted January 8, 2004 They Lawyer hasn't oficially said too much yet. Only that there never was any political motive for it. But it's pretty obvious that it was random thing.<s> Mijalovic even claimed that he never realized that he was stabbing Anna Lindh. Nor did he know who Annd Lindh was untill he watched the evning news that evning. Very doubtful.</s> Edit: "Jag visste att det var henne jag knivhögg, säger han i förhör" - I knew it was here i stabbed he sais during the interrogation. Ok so it seems like he changed his mind. That or im a bit tired.. =) Anyway, Apparently Tv4+ will broadcast the whole trial, Live ... With a black screen. Or alternatively, drawings portraying the trial. Longinius 1 Posted March 23, 2004 Yep. That means he will have his first vacation in a couple of months and be released in about 10 - 12 for good behaviour.
denoir 0 Posted March 23, 2004 He was also ordered to pay 5,000 € to her husband and kids in compensation. Isn't that quite an insult? I don't know why they have that compensation in the first place. I'd rather that life in prison really meant life in prison. As Longinius said, he'll be out in 10 years, if not less.
ArchangelSKT 0 Posted March 23, 2004 I don`t want to sound cynical but with those penalties in Scandinavia one can actually soon think it might be " worth " killing someone . I mean they should do the time...no leaway there . Just my opinion though . Penalties for most things are low in my opinion
