Rifleman 0 Posted July 3, 2003 ok, here is the beta release the httv i made this is a total of one weeks worth of work few things changed from the last screen shots i posted in the addons discussion forum -some model changes to make it more accurate -made the diamond plate metal "painted" green, so its not so bright -few other texture changes and some miror adjustments there are no known bugs right now download ill post some more screen shots in here soon enjoy! I noticed kind of a weird muzzle flash out of the 50 cal and it would be cool if guys could sit in the back, those are my only two request. Major Fubar 0 Posted July 3, 2003 For a first addon, this is really impressive! 1 little bug (?) - you can see the passengers gun thru the side of the car (he doesn't put his gun away) My suggestions for the final release: - It has a "blue" muzzle flash...I believe DKMs Patria had the same problem, not sure what causes it.. - The dashboard needs some more detail - if you can't get actual pics, maybe use the ingame jeep dashboard - Create a custom icon for this great vehicle, instead of the default jeep ison But these are all minor points. edc 0 Posted July 3, 2003 This's a very good addon for only a weeks worth of work. As someone said earlier, having guys sit in the back might be nice, but that's not a huge deal. Should it explode when it's destroyed? I'd prefer it not, but that might not be realistic, or a big deal either. This is a very good addon, I'm surprised there havn't been more posts. I like this addon quite a lot The only bug I found was the muzzleflash, it turn from quite normal to blue depending on which direction of the vehicle you look. Rifleman 0 Posted July 3, 2003 hmmm, that bug you got is wierd sxep, i have no idea whats causing that blue muzzle flash i dont know what causes that either, or how to fix it about the guys gun sticking thru the side, i know it did that on the original bis hummer, what should i do to make it where he doesnt have his gun? and about more detail in the dash, i had to guess on that, since there are no pictures of the dash, theres only bout 6 pictures i could find of the whole thing, there isnt much info on it either if anyone could help on any of those issues i would greatly appreciate it Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I love it as a recon vehicle as it really hauls ass which is a good thing when RPG gunners are shooting at you. Sucks though when they shoot out the tires. At any rate, I can't wait to see the updated version of this addon. It's perfect for Marines and Army Rangers/Special Forces in OFP.
