HI!

Realistic explosion MOD v1.1

Modified explosion effect (shell,rocket and other) in config.bin

changes to version 1.0

----------------------

- Vehicle explosion and burning scripts (sound and light) are built into config.bin by eventhandlers.

- 4 different fuel_explosion sounds and 2 new armorhit sounds.

- Variable vehicle explosion (in size) depend on the class of vehicle.

Every usermade Addon inherits these effects without typing any command

if it has the same "class CfgVehicles" tree than OFP uses.

Installation as separate MOD:

1) Unzip and copy GMR_exploMOD folder to your Operationflashpoint directory.

2) Right-click on your Resistance shortcut on your desktop and select "Create Shortcut".

A new shortcut will appear on your desktop.

3) Right-click on that new shortcut and rename it to "GMR_exploMOD".

4) Edit the new shortcut properties and add "-mod=GMR_exploMOD" (minus the quotes) at the end of the target field.

Make sure there is a space between FlashpointResistence.exe and -mod=GMR_exploMOD

QUICK Installation for advanced users:

Replace config.bin in OperationFlashpoint\Res\Bin directory,

and copy GMR.pbo file to OperationFlashpoint\Addon directory.

It´s a pity DL does´nt work...

Does anyone know if/how i can get it workin together with InQUisiToR´s config.bin Mod 1.1 ?

Well, I take that you allready know how to create shortcuts for the Hisky and all this mod folders, just put a ";" after the Inq mod and put the name of this one right next to it.

I get an error when i use your Inq+Blood+Ex bin

What can i doo about that?

It always apears when i fire the first time at an armored target, with all tanks. "When i press fire"

It only apears when i use a tank, not with infantry-> the blood works fine.

Explosions look great! I like that not all the vehicles burn every time. Also like that sometimes 1 or 2 crew members survive.

The only thing i dont like is that the 'fires' dont last very long at all. I'd like to see them last much longer (10-20 x Longer).

Looks great!

However, I now only use the FDF Mod, and I was wondering if you would feel like offering them these realistic explosions for the next version of their mod.

It is all your decision, but I just thought they might fit together nicely.
