Jinef 2 Posted June 12, 2003 It's not that i don't like the IDF more than the other armies, it think they are all just fighting in what they believe in. The fact that they are killing each other right now is the thing that would make me think this is a bit dodgy, if they did the 6 day war then that would be great, as it's over. Simulating what is going on in the mid east now however is a bit suspect. As supersheep said, let's keep it in the past or fictional. It's a bit like on Sep 12 Steven Spielberg announcing what a great idea it was for a movie, how he could really gather inspiration from it etc. (not that they waited that long before announcing they were making one about Firemen, or that Afghan mods started coming out) Well as the IRA situation has calmed down a bit, they just occasionally kill us, and try less to target religous and political opposition within their own community; i would not mind a IRA vs British mod. This may sound hypocritical but i think a mod in that area would be good, but also i think leaving it to a more urban game like Raven Shield would be a better idea. There were several missions like that which I played in MP matches. I don't remember their names though. It's a very easy thing to create in a mission, but simulating rape to me is like simulating torture and not very tasteful in a game even if those things do happen in real war.
