Eviscerator 0 Posted June 3, 2003 I've just noticed an LOD problem in the Gazelle with HOT missiles, it seems youve got two 13.291 resolution LOD's, one is the proper one and the other has only one face in it, and it causes the Gazelle to materialize out of nowhere when approaching it from a distance, its easily fixed, you just have to delete the one with the single face in it. Burris 0 Posted June 3, 2003 Is there anyway I can make these guys in the "west" folder? Im making a nogova peace keeping mission and its in the French sector, but the resistance are the bad guys.
miles teg 1 Posted June 3, 2003 No, but the easiest way to make them on the West side is to group them with a high ranking west soldier. Then on the West soldier (set as the leader), set his "probability of presence" slider to 0%. Now the rest of the French soldiers will be on the West side and you will not see the West soldier that was the leader. This works for any unit (air, armor, car, ect...). The alternative is to change them all individually by opening up the mission.sqm file in WordPad and editing what side they are on. But that takes a loooong time. punishment 1 Posted June 3, 2003 Why the hell do the grenades not work in SP? Is there an activation script or somthing?
BipBip 0 Posted June 3, 2003 Hi. If you go to the OFrP's site, you'll see a quite interresting news on the next OFrP Pack (still in developpment) OFrP's site The Leclerc exists, it is in the works, and we of course plan to release it, "when it will be ready" ;)
RapThor85 0 Posted June 3, 2003 Quote[/b] ]Why the hell do the grenades not work in SP?Is there an activation script or somthing do you use them with OFrP's soldiers (and especially with the FAMASF1)? I thinks (I'm not sure) that they don't work with others soldiers... don't ask me why ... as I understand, custom grenades are very hard to make, and they've got lots of limitiation with ofp engine. Burris 0 Posted June 4, 2003 Next version can the French be in the West? I think all the NATO nations should be in west.
horrido 0 Posted June 4, 2003 We decided to put the french troops in the same side as the resistance because it allowed more flexibility. This way, it is possible to have a greater choice of alliances. However, it is still possible to put the french troops in whatever camp needed by editing the mission.sqm file and modifying the side of the units. As for the hiddenselections lacking a read-me.txt in english, this is my fault. I forgot to include it. Thanks alot to Vade_101 for correcting my mistake. One more think to add about the hidden selctions: In order for the textures to be displayed correctly, you'll have to be carefull of the selection number: this setObjectTexture [0,"\OFrP_infanterie\sc\yel.paa"] this setObjectTexture [1,"\OFrP_infanterie\pt\92RI.paa"] this setObjectTexture [2,"\OFrP_infanterie\gr\cpl.pac"] where 0 is for the company scarf, 1 for the regimental patch, 2 for the rank badge. If theses numbers are put in the wrong order, the textures will be appearing at the wrong place. -Horrido
