Please make OFP2 easier to update. An update button would be great. Just click on it and it goes and gets your update. The way updates were done in the original was often very confusing. Please make this easier in the next rendition. Thanks.

That sounds excellent, something like Symantecs' auto update feature. (Live Update)

But it's also icing on the cake IMO.

As long as there is an option to get the DL manually (I dont like auto updaters because

a) You can usually find a faster mirror yourself

b) someone you know / on your lan might have the update already

c) you might not want to update (your regular server might not have update yet)

d) they take up more system resources than a simple dl

At least there should be a small utility program that connects itself to a BIS server and checks if there are any updates available.

Now it can check which version(s) of OFP you have and which updates you need! Then you can either update directly or download the updates manually.

Updating should be made easier - it would save BIS/Codemasters money on bandwidth. Check out this thread..

Update button should be included with one extra option. The option to allow you to download the update to a folder, nominated by the owner, prior to installation of the update. Why you may ask... how many of you have updated a program and...booooom... it is corrupt. It would be much simpler if all the updates kept themselves away from the program in question just for such occasions.

Just make sure its seperate from the game itself.

Sometimes I like to do something else while downloading something.
