Probably is just me. I heard, I think in a magazine article, a big rant trying to talk people out of memorizing their checks and doing them with the card instead. Time will tell.

we had a herc come in to the local airfield yesterday. i tried to go flying (couldnt get ahold of my instructor to clear me ) and got a pretty good look at it. love that herc.

Why don't you simply IMPROVE your natural vision if you want to be a pilot that bad?

Most people are just too lazy to do it, so they just get glasses, or lazer correction done.

I had a friend a long while back who had pretty lousy vision. He didn't want glasses, or contacts, and he didn't want laser vision correction.

So he just decided to correct it himself.

Now I think he has BETTER than 20/20 now in both eyes.

Fine, don't listen to me.

But my friend did it, and he now has better than 20/20 vision in both eyes.

It took him about 6 months of a little work. He used to have crappy vision and needed glasses.

Besides, I doubt most people can do anything about their eye-sight issues by themselves.

How bad was your friends eyesight? What age was he? He didn't just happen to grow out of mildly bad eyesight did he? By the way if you have eyesight problems not wearing your glasses will just make things worse.

Improve your vision?

The entire glasses industry is a giant conspiracy! No-one needs to buy them, you can 'improve' your eyesight without them!

So, how do you 'improve' your eyesight without surgery, glasses, contact lenses, or laser treatment?

Doesn't look like anybody walked away from it.  

Looking at it a second time, do you think they would of had a better chance of walking away if their tails hadn't snapped off like that? Seems like that's what would cause the spinning.

Actually wearing glasses only makes your eyes worse. Why do you think people keep needing thicker and thicker lenses? people don't get thinner and thinner lenses, do they?

Oh, and as for my friend, his vision was pretty terrible. He needed glasses to see, or things would be blurry. If he didn't have his glasses, he would have to squint pretty hard at things to see them ok. He was 22 at the time that he corrected his vision. Last I heard he has far better than 20/20 in both eyes.

without the tail rotor . it's the deathspin ....

the tail rotor compensates the rotor couple preventing the chopper from spinning
