Nogova police mi-2 v1.0 released

Recommended Posts

I've finished the Police Mi-2, five days late but I hope It was worth of waiting.

I suggest you to read txt file before playing or asking any questions.

Look into readme.txt for details about features.

Get it here: awmi2p_v101.rar (6,8MB)

I gonna release Civilian, Resistance (two versions) and Russian (two versions too) Mi-2's later.

Polish Mi-2's (T, Ch and some armed versions) featuring new high res fuselage textures (old temporary textures were finally replaced some time ago) will be released with LWP MOD.

You can take a look at LWP PZL Mi-2T here:

Sorry I want to read the Readme.txt, but does that mean I have to download the 7MB file first?

EDIT: If so, can you post the readme here or have a seperate download? smile.gif

It's not beta at all, but thanks for Multiplayer Beta Test (I had no possibility to beta test it over network)...

Shadow... hmmm...

Very strange - I've to check this out (I checked this out before releasing addon, and there were no problems I had to screw something up just before I've released the thing...)

UPDATE: Fixed - download link in the first post of this thread.

Sorry to everyone who have to download these 7MB again (shame, I've missed such obvious bug :/ )

Maybe it's just my computer screwing with me, but the only file in the .rar archive is the readme... Am I the only one with this problem?

i think they are textures and he did a script to randomly make these texture appear small .pac files i think

Would something like that work if you would like a desert t-80 and write in a init field to make it woodland ?

just wondering

other than the shadow bug (an easy one to miss) this is an excellent addon!

I love the textures, and the random number bit - BRILLIANT (check your PM's about that one AirwolfPL)

overall, a well thought out and planned addon, excelent, pure excellence biggrin.gif

Woo! Finally got it. Turns out the utility I was using to extract was screwing things up somehow, but it's working now.

Thanks, it saved me quite a bit of time.

EDIT: Explanation: I was looking for more cargo room for current mission. wink.gif I like the addon a lot, lot's of thought and labor went into this.

Pretty easy stuff but I think effects are not bad - at least more realistic than no number or same number on all choppers (even if OFP's random function appears to work in the lame way (but thanks to that it's pretty fast).

To set the number I've just used script which picks random numbers and then assigns adequate textures to named selections.

Are there any alternate downloads? I'm only getting a 6.5 MB readme file in the download...

EDIT: Nm, i got it working, very nice job. The textures are spectacular!
