@cero 0 Posted July 11, 2003 That's how it should be. Is allready high resolution terrains that replace the oruiginal terrains from some of the BIS islands. I just downloaded the two choppers and the SU25, I haven't transfered to the addons folder yet, but I will in a minute. I been thinking in a high resolution update to my copy of OFP for a long long time, but I don't have the skill, so I have to wayt for people like Silesian to do the job for me I may open a topic somewhere in this forums about what addons could replace the original BIS addons. There is a few, like the Russian regular infantry from UCE, they look much better than the BIS soldiers, but is nothing decent for West in that maters. Â Hind, tanks, troops, weapons, BAS is working on the blackhawk, woodlands vehicles (they'll first release them with desert camo), earl's m16a2 and ak74, etc... what if those mods add a version ready to replace BIS standards? nah... i suppose they have enough work is there a scaled BMP ? What you ganna do with the BIN? release a new version with every new addon? so we just have to make sure we got the stuff that is in the Configuration file. I would love to have a non encripted version of your Configuration file, so all I'll have to do is copy you parameters and paste them into my configuration file. I'm using GoldMembers Configuration file with the Blood addon, Inquisitors weapons pack, his Explosion mod, and a cuple of other addons. I'm hoping to be able to get the dinamic range without the weapons sounds or the other new sound pack. That will make them addons of you sound alot better instead of use the original BIS sounds. I have a server which will be host my modification and I need somebody for help with creation of the webside for it . If you like these modifications, can make professional looking websides ( I can do graphics too ) and would like join me : please write to me - thomassilesian@o2.pl You can write German, English or Polish I try to retexture of the original BIS's models from long time. At the beginning I started it only for my pleasure, but with time it grew up in the "Project Retextured OFP". I retextured many of the BIS's vehicles. Some of them which are the most finished you can see over in another my post. Many another need only "the last touch" and some like these: need a lot of work. Â Once I have planned to change original BIS's p3d model. Many peoples did many excellent new addons e.g. Sigma's tanks instead orig./ Mechanic's car / or LSD Ashland instead BIS's LST Ship. I have thought that by this means I'll have many looking great vehicles. But when I did these changes I had problems with my game ( I don't understand sources of them ) and I/you'll probably can't play in MP games in many servers with these. At the moment we have new textures for allmost everything, and I'm considering to use Frandesten Marines as a replacement for the BIS West infantry. I know that I could replace them with some other stuff, and I know about the international west soldiers, but the fact that they are using the google animation and something ellse makes me think no about them. I'll definitly use your vehicles. Them put togueder with a nice sound pack, Inquisitors weapons, the blood addon and Goldmembers explo mod, and the changes in the game are massive. TheRedBaron 0 Posted August 22, 2003 I like the t-80 and the m2a2 but it looks like u need to add a little more wear and tear they looks so clean and on the hellos the side pannels look a bit plain.
